According to the speculations in political circles, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is going to resign very soon. The names doing the rounds as his successor include Deputy Chief Ministers -   Devendra Fadnavis or Ajit Pawar, or even MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Reportedly, the alliance partners met recently to discuss a smooth transition for the new government. The sources claimed that Eknath Shinde will move to Centre and will continue to hold his position as Shiv Sena chief.
