Some reports also suggest, the scheme is not only going with low quality but also pipe material are purchased at exaggerated price from few selected vendors and this money is laundered to neighboring State & Country. Earlier, during Congress rule in Rajasthan, several senior officials involved in JJM were taken into custody by the central investigative agency. Will West Bengal be going the Rajasthan way, or it’s the new assignment awaited for the ED in West Bengal?
