When times are tough and people are frustrated and angry and hurting and uncertain, the politics of constant conflict may be good, but what is good politics does not necessarily work in the real world. What works in the real world is cooperation.

Will RajniKant be new MGR in Tamil Nadu ?

Political observers say that Rajni Kant  may emerge as new MGR in the Tamil Nadu Politics. One can only wait and watch.

They will make Modi dictator ?

At a get-together one senior citizen made a remark “ Gujarati Teen ladke and boy like Kanhaiya Kumar  will make Narendra Modi dictator and then see...”.One need not elaborate.

Adopted Villages....

I'm in Mumbai.... travelling in a Cab from Andheri to Churchgate. Heavy traffic so journey time rising..... the Cabbie strikes a conversation with me.

Cabbie (translated from Hindi): Sir ji for us UPites situation is very dicey here in Mumbai... okay we make money but we live dangerously...

Me: Why...

C: SS and MNS ka kuch pataa nahi...they can suddenly decide that we UPites should go and the mayhem starts... Gujus... South Indians.... we Bhaiyas ...UP and Bihar... why even you Sardarjis have been targetted by them...

M: From where in UP are you...

C: (proudly) From Jayapur....PM's adopted village.... we are the blessed one's...

M: Blessed that Modi has chosen your Village..

C: Proud he has chosen our Village... and blessed because of the work he's doing for our Village...

M: Elaborate..

C: Since PM adopted Jayapur we've  been blessed with all round development. All village roads are constructed. School building and class rooms are renovated. High School classes opened for Girls. Waiting shelters constructed for travellers.

M: Wow...

C: 3 nationalised Bank Branches opened ...1 fully computetised LIC Branch opened ....1 fully computerised Post Office opened ....Model houses being built with modern facilities...Skill Development Training Centre for Women opened ....

M: Really you guys are blessed...

C: Aadhar Card & Jan Dhan accounts of all villagers done....400 youths of village got training and employed by Handicrafts Department ...16 Bio toilets have been constructed .....200 solar lights installed in village..... Jayapur is the first village in UP which is fully illuminated on solar power....

M: Anything for Farmers and Women....

C: Crop loans worth 35 lakhs disbursed to Farmers.....2 cement bricks kilns have been constructed ......Water tank for potable water with every house connected through water pipelines......

18 women of Jayapur have been trained to operate transport services from Village to nearest Block.

M: Girl Child...

C: A rural Knowledge Centre with Library established ..... Girls School with air-conditioned aanganbari centre for women has been set up ......two weaving centres etablished.

Jayapur is a 100% wi-fi enabled village....Free LED bulbs distributed in over 800 households . 35 Women are being trained in spinning and weaving with 25 solar charkhas and 5 looms.....E-rickshaw distributed amongst 101 youths....300 household got gas connection under Ujjawala...

M: Catch your breadth... you sound like Shankar Mahadevan singing Breatless.

C: I have a friend who is from Jagdishpur... RaGa's adopted village....in contrast  village adopted by RaGa lacks basic amenities .....just 3 hand pumps in entire Jagdishpur village .....an empty promise of water tank ......sewers flowing all over kachha roads .....no medical facility .....just 2 Schools....... High School is 12 Kms away...

M: That bad...

C: In fact RaGa was critical of the adoption of village as he said "mera kaam sabh ka vikas ka hai, kisi ek Gaaon ke vikas ka nahi". But in reality RaGa, true to the culture of Congress gave just empty promises..... not just to his adopted village Jagdishpur but entire constituency Amethi.

M: Any feedback on Sonia's adopted Village...

C: Yes.... from another Cabbie friend.....situation is much worse in Sonia Gandhi's adopted village Urwa.

Though a women empowerment slogan is written on one of the wall's, fact is the girls of the village are forced to leave studies and sit at home because there are no  schools or college.

They have to go in open fields for defecation.....nearest dispensary is 7 kms away....

only 19 houses have toilets in 608 families......

Is construction of 4-5 bio toilets a big task for Sonia Gandhi??????  All roads of Urwa village are full of potholes

Village does not have even a vaccination centre .....hospital is 22 kms away...

M: That bad...but if conditions in your Village Jayapur so good what are your doing here...

C: We are 7 brothers with just 2 acres of land... I support the family with my earnings... because of easy access to School in my Village all the kids in the family getting educated..my family is safe there...

M: Modi's seen poverty so he tries his best to make peoples lives better and rise up in life

.. Gandhis have not seen poverty and seems their funda is ...poor should remain poor...that is why they play the Garibi Hatao joke on the poor....and make fun of Modi's gareebi...

Reach destination... pay the Cabbie and go my way
