Why is the AAP govt not tabling CAG reports?

The AAP led Delhi government has not tabled 11 CAG reports in the Delhi Assembly. IG V K Saxena, for the first time, has flagged the delay in tabling of 11 CAG reports in the house.The 11 CAG reports on state finances, pollution mitigation, regulation and supply of liquor in Delhi, performance audit report on children in need of care and protection are pending with Delhi Finance Minister. The LG has asked the Speaker that the delay amounted to gross dereliction of their constitutional obligations.

Bengal always opposes CBI, withdraw consent, but this time want a time bound CBI probe

The West Bengal Chief Minister withdrew general consent from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) but now wants the agency to not just complete the probe but hang the accused by Sunday, which is already gone. The TMC government earlier opposed CBI probe into the Sandeshkhali incident, manhandling of ED officials, post election violence and scam in teachers appointment. These probes were ordered by the Calcutta High Court. The State govt approached the SC against the HC order. But the SC did not oblige the TMC led Bengal government.
