Arrogance of CM cost her dearly ?

People say the arrogance of Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia has cost her dearly in the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections. Indication is clear, Congress is coming back to power in the state. The only hope is Modi magic.

Is this a risky and bold budget?

General Elections are due next year and the NDA govt presenting its last general budget without given any major relief to middle class in IT, is being seen as bold decision . According to experts, no govt could dare to take such risky and bold decision to ignore a large chunk of voters, the middle class.

Infrastructure got top priority

Again in the fourth consecutive budget, infrastructure got major boost. As reported in this website, govt imposes a cess to keep continuity for the development of infrastructure.

Modicare...

Watched the Budget at my favourite Cafe and then linger on savouring a Latte. A Fired Editor  ...who nowadays spends his waking hours tweeting enters and comes and sits on the adjacent table and I strike a converstation with him.

Me: Good Budget.....everything in it for all Stratas excepting Ambani and Adani types...

Fired Editor: I don't think so....and as it is its too early to comment...what did you find so good in this Budget..

M: Two huge announcements...one for Agriculture....MSP....1 1/2 times of Production Cost.... and .....Ayushman Bharat National Health Assurance Scheme..... Rs 5 lakh/year per family for 10 crore families for health expenses....huge!!

FE: But BJP had promised MSP 50% of the Production Cost....

M: A big step in this direction...and there are a slew of measures for Agri Sector ...including Fisheries and Animal Husbandary..

FE: I think both schemes you call as huge....have a catch somewhere...

M: Ha ha....bunkum.... in fact when Jaitley announced both the nervous silence was palpable.... after a while RaGa was seen animatedly discussing with OSD Scindia...Officer on Slamming Duty.....and USD Kamalnath  ...Uncle on Smirking Duty....

FE: Buss itna ....rest of Budget was unenthusing...

M: Free gas connection for 8 crore poor women under Ujwala Scheme....Infrastructure outlay increased from Rs 4.94 lakh crore to almost Rs 6 lakh crore...100% tax deduction to Companies registered as Farm-Producer Companies with turnover of Rs 100 crore...Rs 56,000 crore for SCs and Rs 39,000 crore for STs....Lower tax rate of 25 per cent for Companies with a reported turnover up to Rs 250 crore...

FE: The Devil is in the Print....Middle Class let down on account of no rejig in Income Tax..

M: Aren't you the proverbial Naysayer... TDS for senior citizens on FDs and Post Office deposits upto Rs 50,000...Deduction for senior citizens increased to Rs 50,000 for Medical Insurance....on Personal Income Tax... I think with the huge additional expenditure he wanted to Ring Fence Income Tax Revenue..LTCG too aimed at this....salaried class get a deduction of 40000 in lieu of Transport Expenses and Medical Reimbursement... no support documents needed...

FE: Modi Governmemt keeps on going like this ....today lost 2 LS and one Assembly seat in Rajasthan... they will be wiped out..

M: Congress did not win... Vasundhara lost...niether the local Leaders nor RSS like her..

FE: I don't think any Media House can afford me ....Market for new ventures saturated!

M: Start a Filmy kind of Magazine catering to Politics ...gossip... lies...all the works...suits your style of Journalism..

FE: You don't know who I am.....

M: I precisely know who you are and that is why I gave you this advice.
