Political parties gearing up for Delhi Assembly polls too

Though the political parties are preparing for Assembly polls in Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra and Jharkhand, they are even eyeing the Delhi Assembly polls, scheduled in February 2025. The Delhi BJP unit held an extended meeting of the state Executive committee recently. Issues discussed included arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal among other key leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in different cases, corruption in Delhi, and the development projects executed by Centre in the capital. Meanwhile, AAP has also launched an outreach programme to directly reach the voter across all 2,800 zones. Congress leaders too are busy in preparing election strategies.
