A diplomat  made an interesting remark at a get-together-PM Modi has done very well on foreign front but the main problem  is to control the ‘Lumpen Elements’ of Hindu organisations.

Congress to gain in Lok Sabha elections ?

Political observers believe that the Congress will gain in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Bihar in the next Lok Sabha elections.

No Repackaging.....

I start my customary evening walk around the inner circle in CP when I'm joined by a CA...his Office is next to mine in CP.

Neighbour:  Azad seems to have lost it...

Me: Why...

N: He feels all the schemes of NDA are repackaged version of UPA schemes.....

M: Poor fellow his name itself is Oxymoronic... one cannot be a Ghulam and Azad at the same time!!!!

N: Why do people say when Congress comes to power in a year's time there is 'tezzi' in Stocks... Property prices..

M: Yup I too have heard of this..

N: Because ...when Congress comes to power it'll announce Schemes worth crores and crores.... and then starts the alleged legendry pilferage... the pilfered money ends up in Stocks... Real Estate and Land...there is tezzi... Rajiv Gandhi himself admitted 16 paisa of every Rupee reaches 'ground zero' the rest is pilfered enroute...

M: An eye opener..

N: BJP came to power... it saw merit in many schemes and saw the shortcomings ..... re-calibrated the schemes and set up a mode by which funds would reach 'ground zero'... via Aadhar.

M: So Azad's ...BJP repackaging our schemes is just a sob story...... he also said something about many rural Toilets not having water...

N: Many toilets where tapped water is not available....buckets or drums are placed outside ....if its a community toilet then the drums are filled by the community and if its a toilet of a home then members of the family do the needful..

M: And the message that 'going into the fields' is disrepectful for women folk and unhealthy for all has been duly drilled in...

N: Azad forgets its better to do something rather than just concentrate on trappings of power... which were the goals of UPA!! This Government has been a panacea  for the ills that plague the Country and Society...

M: Markets really taking a thrashing...

N: Global Sell-Off...was expected....

M: Middle Class is sulking....

N: For what...Rs. 2500.... the general demand of Middle Class was raise slab from 2.5 to 3 lacs...

M: And in lieu they've got a write-off of 40,000 and Seniors have got additional benefits..

N: I think its less of a financial issue and more of ego.... 'we demanded this and Jaitley didn't pay heed to our demand'!!

M: LTCG..

N: If the 31st Jan Price or higher previous price had not been there there would have been mahyem...its been fairly conjured.....

M: Fuel..

N: Well Oil has already come off highs.... at present there is no hue and cry from the Public... Politicians take hue and cry to be a marker for reconsidering any issue....

M: Yaar I'm famished.... have a craving for samosas and oversweet tea...let's go to The Host...

N:  Arre I know of a Host in whose Office we can get free samosas and tea.... Kejriwal's Office... and we are Delhites.. so its our right to enjoy our CMs hospitality..do you know in 18 months his Office has served Samosas and Tea  worth a crore....

M: The Host is better.... we've  paid a heavy price for voting him to power... samosa tea ke liye pataa nahi what more is in store for us.

We walk to The Host to enjoy hot samosas and tea.
