UP Chief Minister holds closed-door meeting with RSS Chief

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat held a closed-door meeting. The one-to-one meeting that was arranged in Mathura, lasted for almost two-and-a-half hours. This is the first time the two leaders have met for a substantial discussion since the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Sources reveal that the meeting was not confined to the immediate by-elections in 9 Assembly constituencies but also touched on the broader political strategy for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel to be celebrated for two years

According to Home Minister Amit Shah, to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel with a two year long  nationwide celebration from 2024 to 2026 to honour his monumental achievements. His birthday falls on October 31.
