Delhi Govt distances from AAP's schemes
The Delhi Government has issued public notices distancing itself from the ruling AAP's promised schemes of providing Rs 2,100 to women and free treatment for the elderly. The government's Women and Child Development and Health departments also cautioned the people against providing personal details to anyone on the pretext of registration for "non-existent" schemes, saying any private individual or political party collecting such physical forms or information is "fraudulent and without any authority". Recently, AAP leaders launched the exercise of registering people for the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana with much fanfare.
Will abolition of dists in Rajasthan snowball into political row?

The Bhajan Lal Sharma government in Rajasthan has abolished nine out of the seventeen new districts created by the earlier Congress government of Ashok Gehlot. It has also been decided to abolish three newly created divisions. However, 8 new districts will remain. After this, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said the decision of the BJP government is an example of indiscretion and mere political revenge. It remains to be seen if the BJP move will snowball into a political row in the days to come. However, it is also true that many very small districts were created.
