Prashant Kishor’s misstep

Prashant Kishor, widely regarded as a master political strategist and the driving force behind the Jansuraj movement, faced a stark contrast in fortunes when he himself formed his own political party in Bihar. Recently, Kishor tried to leverage the students' movement in Bihar. However, this move backfired. During a student-led protest, Kishor joined the demonstrators in a show of solidarity. Yet, he was accused of abandoning the protest site prematurely as police lathi-charged students after he left. The incident not only alienated student activists but his effort to align with the students’ cause seemed superficial.
