PM’s luncheon meeting with Mahayuti MLAs

PM Narendra Modi held a luncheon meeting with MLAs of ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra at the INS Angre auditorium in Mumbai. The meeting comes amid reports of discord among alliance partners. The Mahayuti government was established after a contentious period concerning the CM and the formation of the cabinet and tensions appear to persist between Shiv Sena (Shinde) and BJP MLAs within the alliance. CM Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy CMs Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, and most coalition MLAs attended the meeting. Earlier, Shinde had said the PM would guide the alliance MLAs.
