This time almost every section of society is heaving a sigh of relief in the regular budget of Modi Govt 3.0 which will be presented on February 1, 2025. Now the big question is- will the middle class get any relief?

BJP strengthens base in Kerala by announcing generational change?

In order to strengthen its base in the Muslim and Christian dominated State, the BJP has reshuffled its district units in Kerala and it signifies a generational change. The party has accommodated four women and three Christians as the District Presidents in the party reorganisation. BJP has split some districts into different district committees, which include three district committees in Thrissur. The party candidate Suresh Gopi has opened the account of BJP in Thrissur in last Lok Sabha polls. This was the lone LS seat, the party won ever in the state. The party has announced 27 new district presidents recently. It also formed more than 18,000 booth-level committees across the state. This boost in women and Christian representation signals a strong generational shift in the party. Previously, the party was not in favour of accommodating the Christian community.
