Uttarakhand civic body election results expose misconception of Congress regarding EVMs?

With the local body election results in Uttarakhand, the misconception of the Congress against EVMs has allegedly been exposed. The elections were held through ballot papers. The Congress in Uttarakhand once again failed to find its lost ground as it was routed by the BJP in 100 urban local body elections, including 11 Municipal Corporations. The Congress has previously outrightly rejected EVM results and demanded that the polling be held through ballot papers. Now, what next for the grand old party?

 AICC secret survey rings alarm bell for Kerala Congress?

The AICC secret survey report has become a warning signal to Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala. Giving serious warning, it clearly says that the alliance will not come to power if it continues to ignore backward communities. “It will be difficult for the UDF to come to power in the next Assembly elections, if the state Congress leadership continues to ignore the Ezhava community and other backward communities in the organization and selection of candidates”, says the AICC's secret survey. The AICC has been receiving many complaints about the severe neglect faced by the Ezhava community, which constitute about 29 percent of the population in the state. The party leaders are also ignoring the Vishwakarma, Dheevara and Nadar communities which could be detrimental to the party.
