After the US drifted apart from the military support to Ukraine, the world has divided into three parts with Russia, China and Iran announcing joint military drills off the coast of Iran this week. A third-world war is looming large in the coming time?

Why did the Minister write a letter to a CS?

In the power galleries, a letter written by a union minister to a chief secretary is a talking point these days. The said letter was reportedly about his PS whom he wanted to be shunted out immediately. According to sources the CS informed the minister that since the IAS officer is on the Central deputation therefore the case is beyond his power. But on the minister's request the CS reportedly had a talk with the DoPT and his PS was transferred.
