Panda and BJP

BJP wants a strong political leader in Odisha. If Baijayant Panda, MP joins BJP, he could be another contestant for CM's post in Odisha.

Growth back on track..

.I'm  back in Shimla... its moderately cold... my Respected Friend... retired senior Bureaucrat... and me ..we meet at a Tea Joint. Over Honey Ginger Tea and Cream Rolls we get chatting.

Me: Congress in celebratory mode after winning two bye-elections in MP...behaving like they've won entire MP...

Respected Friend:  1/ Both were  held by Congress... 2/ Both seats from Guna... Scindia stronghold.... 3/ if 15 years anti incumbency was taking its toll then Congress vote share should have gone up and BJP's fallen... just opposite took place... BJP up by 10% ... Congress down 8%...

M: So its all useless hawai-firing.. surprised ...read a News Report... that while being flown from Chennai to Delhi ....Karti wanted his Business Class upgrade..

RF: And I read he wanted 5 Star Lunch in Delhi....

M: Only child of PC ... so could have been pampered to the hilt....and his first experience ...he will learn ....

RF: I hear CBI has got some very damning evidence from Karti's CA's Computer... and then the 164 Statements by Indrani Mukherjee...

M: Sir maybe PC got wind of these developments  and approached SC for protection of  his right to privacy and other fundemental rights...but he did not anticipate Karti's arrest!!! Congress doesn't  seem to be that peturbed about Karti's arrest...Senior Comgis all chup...and I hear RaGa is off to meet his Nani....

RF: I think for Sonia PC is a 'hedger' ..... she'd treat someone like Teesta as her own...

M: But Congress did try to show that 1 day Custody... when CBI had asked for 15 days ...as a victory for Karti..

RF: Actually this was the Order of the Duty Magistrate... today a regular CBI Judge will hear the matter... I think for starters standard 3-4 days Custody....

M: Karti told the Judge... I am not a Hindustan Leaver but a Hindustan Returner...

RF: Judge should  have responded....TATA is a possibility I cannot ignore...viewing the fact that the 700,000 $ payments allegedly have been made overseas by INX ....

M: Yes..now CBI will find out who owns the Recipient Companies and what services were actually provided...(Twitter alert on my phone)... Karti CA in custody till March 7 and Karti till March 6...

RF: Coming to this Nirav scam...imagine RBI had not audited Brady Road Branch of PNB for 9 years.... why???? Did the Branch have an Audit Amnesty!!!

M: As per Congress.... joh darwaja kholle wohi chor...which means if you look the other way you are honest.....

RF: If these scams had a BJP hand...... BJP would have done what Congress did for years.... kept the scams under wraps...

M: The biggest game changer has been the Order to rotate Bankers every 2-3 years... weekly Reports to RBI .... and the message from top.... NPAs are an evil ....there will be accountability ...

RF: Another piece of good news.... GDP back on track

.. 7.5% .... core sector grew at a solid 6.7% .... strong agriculture growth too....

M: So the effects of Demo and GST over....I think now Jobs too will show an uptick.... though in unorganized Sector healthy rise definitely...

RF: Lets move out... got to pay my Dish subscription.... I delayed it purposely when the coverage of Sridevi's death started... didn't want the Idiot Box to make an Idiot of me..

M: Knowing our News Channels... must be sniffing around ...if she was covered by Insurance....abhi picture baaki hai...I think you can delay paying it for a few more days....maybe till the 13th day.....

We have a laugh ...pay the tab... Dutch as always...and move out.
