JMM’s discontent may hurt INDIA Alliance in Bihar polls

As the 2025 Bihar Assembly polls near, rifts within the INDIA alliance are surfacing. The JMM, ruling party in Jharkhand, has expressed anger over being sidelined in alliance meetings and may contest 15 seats independently in Bihar. JMM, aiming for national expansion, says that the voice of the tribal community cannot be ignored. Simultaneously, the RJD has also accused the alliance of discrimination in Jharkhand. With both JMM and RJD expressing dissatisfaction, the unity and credibility of the INDIA bloc in Bihar stands at risk, potentially benefiting the BJP.
