Will Pilot-Gehlot bury the hatchet and strengthen Cong?  

A long-standing rift in Rajasthan Congress may be easing, as Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot held a one-hour meeting on June 7—their first personal interaction in years. Once marked by open rivalry, especially during Pilot’s 2020 rebellion, their renewed dialogue is being seen as a step towards reconciliation. With leadership tensions lingering since the 2023 Assembly Polls, this meeting could mark a turning point. Continued unity between the two may strengthen Congress’s position in the state.

 

 

Who will resign in Karnataka?

The stampede incident has fueled the unrest in Karnataka politics and within the ruling party Congress. Dy CM D K Shivkumar arrived in Delhi last night and is likely to meet the party leaders. A section of the state congress reportedly wants both CM and Dy CM to resign.
