Iran had warned the US against joining Israel’s bombing campaign, but the US struck its three nuclear sites. Iran had said US military bases and ships could be targets, but the US has already strengthened its air defences and spread out its naval forces. Donald Trump has also warned that if Iran strikes back, the US may respond strongly—even targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader. The situation remains tense and unpredictable.

 

Nitish Govt plays trump card, hikes pensions

Ahead of Assembly elections, Bihar's Nitish-led NDA Government played its trump card by increasing pensions for elderly citizens, disabled and widows from Rs 400 to Rs 1100.
