Some Governors / LGs are likely to be appointed soon

If sources are to be believed, appointment of 3-4 Governors and at least one LG is likely to be made in the days to come. Names of probable Constitutional Heads are understood to have been forwarded to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Will J&K statehood be restored?

As per latest buzz, Modi government may restore the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and August 5 could be the date of announcement. PM Modi and HM Amit Shah met the President on Sunday raising the speculation. The government had reduced the statehood to UT on August 5, 2019. Amarnath Yatra  has already been suspended.
