Peacemaker to Bully?

Trump has taken a big leap- from Projecting himself as a peacemaker in the Indo-Pak conflict to now being seen as a bully on the international stage.In a sharp remark, Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong recently tweeted: “Give the bully an inch, he will take a mile.”

Enemy of my Enemy is my friend?

For the first time in the last seven years, Prime Minister Modi is expected to visit China for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin. This upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is said to hold great significance in global corridors. Could it be a gamechanger in response to Trump’s aggressive tariff policy, imposing 50% duties on Indian goods? Or is it a subtle play of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” ?

Rahul Gandhi is after the ECI for the Congress party poll defeat. He called INDIA Bloc leaders at his residence on Thursday night and presented his charges before them. As per sources in the dinner meeting only leaders of Rahul coterie were present. Leaders of other groups, like G23 , Shashi Tharoor , were reportedly not invited.
