Once farmers champion, AAP facing farmers' ire in Punjab

The Arvind Kejariwal led AAP is facing ire of farmers in Punjab where his party is in power. Despite the withdrawal of the controversial land pool policy, farmers are still agitated with Mann government. They say the government is yet to issue a notification in this regard. They are also angry that the maximum govt's decision is being announced by Kejriwal not by CM Mann. During the Delhi agitation, the then APP govt was supporting farmers' agitation and going extra miles to provide them all possible facilities.

New BJP President after Parliament session is over

As per latest indications, BJP is likely to get its new President by the end of this month. Most probably the party may announce a new chief after the current session of Parliament is over i e August 21.
