Will Dr Raman Singh be appointed Governor?

As per latest buzz senior BJP Leader and Speaker of Chhattisgarh Assembly Dr Raman Singh is likely to be appointed as Governor of an important state. One can guess about probable important states.

Will NDA have the numbers to pass the 130th Constitutional Amendment Bill?

NDA has 292 members in the Lok Sabha and in Rajya Sabha it has 117 members, with the strength rising to 125, with 2 nominated members and 6 independents.
 
These numbers are off by a margin to go through with a Constitutional Amendment as it requires 50% + 1 votes with 2/3rd total members of each house present and voting.
 
Effectively if all members sit, the figures don’t stand with the government especially in Lok Sabha but sources suggest that the government by moving the bill to a JPC has already opened the lobbying gates.
 
The questions that will be answered in days to come are:
 
Will Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP tow the government’s line as anxieties rise among politicians with criminal record?
 
Will the government lobby for some parties to stay out of the voting process to reduce the effective majority, and who will they be?
 
Is this bill a test of coalition by the government to quash all rumours of and speculations about the stability?
