Why is Opposition not raising 'Vote theft' allegations ?

 


 

In the recently held Vice President elections, NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan was won with a brute majority. As per information, he got more votes than expected. Sources said it shows that some opposition MPs also cast their vote in his favour. Jairam Ramesh has earlier claimed, “We have 315 votes and nobody is going to change his mind.” But the result has a different story. Now experts ask why the Opposition is not saying that our 'votes have been stolen’.

 

Indian team to travelling to US for FTA negotiations

 

The Indian team will soon be travelling to the United States to hold a new round of negotiations on the proposed Free Trade Agreement (FTA). This visit is being seen as a crucial step in deepening the economic partnership between the two countries. Officials are expected to discuss tariff reductions, market access for goods and services, and opportunities to expand bilateral investment. The talks will also likely cover sensitive areas such as intellectual property rights, digital trade, and labour standards. Both sides are aiming to address long-pending concerns in order to build a more balanced and mutually beneficial trade framework. The FTA, if finalised, could significantly boost India–US economic ties and open new opportunities for businesses on both sides.

 

Cabinet reshuffle likely in Jharkhand
