HM released year book 2017 written by HS

The Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh  released the book ‘India 2017 Yearbook’ authored by the Union Home Secretary, Rajiv Mehrishi, in  Delhi Monday. The chapters of the Book are divided into four broad groups covering Indian geography, history, polity, demography, economy, development schemes, environment, disaster management, media and communication, foreign policy, J&K and newsmakers in  India.  The Book also deals with general knowledge, viz., general information, culture, monuments and cultural institutions of  India and miscellaneous general topics among many other subjects. The book is written in a very professional manner and have important persons on the panel of contributors. India 2017 YEARBOOK  is very  useful  for UPSC, State Civil and other competitive Examinations preparation.

EVM

My Respected Friend , Retired Senior Bureaucrat,  is still in  Delhi and today we meet at Swarna Bhawan on Janpath and over Mini Idlis dipped in Sambar ...Mysorepak and Frothy Filter coffee we get chatting.

Respected Friend: Kejri is just tying himself in knots.. .. Hacking in this case means.... ...unauthorised access and inserting own codes. So many Sites are hacked ...the Hackers are sitting.... say in China and hacking a Pentagon Site....but funnily AAP wants to fiddle with the Hardware .. do these Dolts even know the number of EVMs used in a Election ...to 'fix' so many EVMs and keep the issue a secret is a impossibility....
M: You handover a EVM to someone in Nehru Place and he will make it into a transistor ....keeping the exterior the same ...the Buttons would be to surf radio stations.....what else did that AAP MLA do...make a machine to suit AAP's 'face saver'....
RF: Anyone can fiddle with the hardware ...fact is the EVMs from manufacturing to EC custody to Election application and back to EC Custody  are in the strictest Security... so any fiddling with the Hardware is an impossibility ... proof ....otherwise wouldn't have AAP got its hands on a EC EVM and then fixed it to suit its need...
M: But with Kejri's mindset ....sabh mille hooe hai.. . ECL..EC....Security Agencies ...the Officials whose custody the EVMs are there for election...all Parties reps at Booths excepting of course AAP reps ..
RF: EC Hackathon..Political Parties have 4 hours to hack  ......it was AAP who had demonstrated in Delhi Assembly that by fiddling with Codes via a remote application the desired results could be managed.. ..so now do it on the EC EVM not on its Made to Order device ....and coffee..tea...biscuits will be served for the 4 hour Hackathon ...so that Kejri cannot say ...because of drop in Caffiene/Sugar levels of our Hackathon Team could not perform..
M: Kejri who is under suspicion Left Right and Centre...suspects everyone and everything..in his warped mind he may be feeling EC is mixed up with BJP.....I think EC should also hold a 'in camera' interview with the Parties taking up the Hackathon Challenge...a kind of Viva...
RF: Kejri says doubts about EVMs arose in the last 4 months ...prior to this AAP had not questioned the EVMs..
M: Ha ..ha ..Sir .... like it's said a bad mechanic blames the tools   ....AAP had to come up with some issue to save face .....what a drubbing it got in Punjab , Goa, Delhi Rajouri Garden and Delhi MCD ...the problem is it had grossly hyped its position pre-election for these elections  ...so it's using the EVMs to save face...
RF: For AAP EVM has become ....EVM or Easy Vindicating Machine ....nothing more nothing less...as for Kejri ...EVM .... Epitome of a Villain Mind...
M: So how will AAP go about this Hackathon..
RF: They'll demand... we should be allowed to change the Hardware ....as it's not going to be allowed ...in all probability they will boycott the Hackathon and hold a protest outside EC Office ....
M: EVM....Escape Velocity Mode ....take a escape route to keep a dead issue alive....
