Why Baba Ram Dev is silent these days ?

People  are curious to know why Baba Ram Dev has stopped speaking in favour of Narendra Modi. What is in his mind ?

There will be coalition government at the centre ?

At a get-together  some people  said that  there would be no BJP Government at the centre in 2019  because BJP support base of 2014  has not been extended. Means there would be a coalition government. Some others however said that by hook or crook BJP would form the next Government.

Back in pleasant Shimla... I meet my Respected Friend... Retired Senior Bureaucrat... at a famous Dhaba on the Mall... over Paneer tak-taka-tak.... Dal Makhani .... Rotis we get chatting

Me: So Sir about 4 lac crore out of the 9 lac crore NPAs..... that has been returned to the system via the ingenious Insolvency and Banking Code (IBC)..

Respected Friend: Without causing any upheavel... RBI had referred 12 accounts, totalling about 25 per cent of the gross NPAs, for resolution under the IBC in June last year... "good outcome" .....a key component of which is the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) -- the final adjudicator.

M: Another Feather in Modi's cap....by God his cap now looks like a bird...

RF: Once these 12 get settled, the speed will go up... hear a second batch of 21 cases were sent by the RBI to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) in January.....

M: Of course as usual Congi Media will ignore this or find a way to credit MMS.. now the next crying issue ....fuel prices..

RF: Comparing prices now and during UPA ...wrong.. as now prices are dynamic... UPA's mishandling of Fuel led to our Deficit going uncontrollable .... but one has to note that our prices don't go up and down in the same ratio with Benchmark Global prices...there are many factors that go into calculating prices..

M: Yes I noted this recently..as global crude prices went up by a whopping 24 per cent between June and October 2017, locally, price rise in petrol and diesel were contained at less than six per cent...

RF: And next time we whine about that extra 10 paise per litre that we have to cough up as excise duty, let us also remember this 10 paise has contributed in ensuring that highway construction in four years of the Modi dispensation has doubled to 27 km a day for the first time.

M: Odd for a SC Judge to give Interviews.... and that to a Journo who is known to be rabidly anti Modi and a News Net Portal that is also rabidly anti Modi ... he has one grouse .....Roster...seems he wants the Parchi System to replace Roster..

RF: See fact is they tried the Impeachment Charade and it flopped... their hope was if CJI goes before June this Judge would be the CJI... now thankfully he retires in June 2018...

M: And he boasts he will not take any appointment post retirement...SC Judges usually don't....

RF: Age is just a number...or.... cite the US model.... SC Judges should be for life...post retirement  of present CJI .... modify Constitution to make SC Judges for Life ... and in the meantime the next Judge in line ....one of the infamous 4...

should be made caretaker CJI... no age bar... till Constitution is amended..

M: Another 0 loss type of funda..

We laugh and pay the tab and move out.
