NDA’s Rajya Sabha tally in all probability will reach 140 by end of 2026.The BJP is currently at 103 seats, and the NDA at 133. The BJP  may also rise to 111.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reportedly personally advised Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav to engage Indian Political Action Committee (IPAC) for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, emphasizing that victories in UP and Bengal are vital for the opposition's national resurgence. According to sources, Banerjee urged SP not to worry about funding constraints, assuring financial backing to counter BJP's dominance. She highlighted IPAC's pivotal role in her own Trinamool Congress (TMC) successes, suggesting seamless deployment post-Bengal polls. Banerjee also proposed deploying select West Bengal bureaucrats familiar with IPAC's data-driven strategies from TMC campaigns to assist SP's ground operations in UP. This strategic counsel aims to replicate IPAC's micro-targeting and voter analytics prowess, proven in 2021 Bengal and 2024 Lok Sabha wins. The move underscores deepening INDIA bloc coordination, with Mamata positioning TMC as a key enabler for SP amid Akhilesh's aggressive expansion plans.
