Rahul Gandhi seems to be fighting his battle alone because most of the senior Congress leaders are not supporting him.

Will Shatrughan join RJD ?

Political temperature is high these days. If sources are to be believed, veteran BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha is likely to join RJD and will lead the party from the front. According to experts, in the absence of Lalu, RJD needs a new and popular leader from Bihar who can lead the party in the next LS elections. Lalu has reportedly given his permission to this arrangement.

Strong Deterrent needed..

Being a Sunday I drop into a Coffee Shop near my home for my morning fix. On the adjacent table is a Jhola Waali... huge bindi ...NGO type Lady. She strikes a conversation with me

She: Lovely Coffee ...

Me: Yes... but price is a wee bit steep...

S: Hardly matters..tell me what's your opinion on the Death Ordinance for rapes below 12..

M: Needed.... Modi has walked the talk... as usual....

S: What is wrong with Indians.... jiss ko poocho..... all say .... fantastic step... should have come long time back...do you people know the ramifications..

M: Go on....

S: Rapists will kill the victim for fear of being recognized and thereafter hung...

M: Ma'am that they do so as it is if they feel the kid will recognize them.....and mostly after such a henious act the kid does not survive.....if the kid survives is scarred for life...

S: Why not try to inject love into Society... change people's mindsets...

M: Who is stopping you to do this... do it....but for those who don't learn anything there is 'the ultimate deterrent - hang to death'!!! Strong deterrent is needed!!

S: Sensetize Cops...

M: How will this help in preventing such henious rapes....don't tell me you feel that like in many robberies...Cops get advance info about rapes..

S: Death Penalty is barbaric...

M: And so is rape of kids below 12.... these kids are what we term ...in the age bracket of ... angels!!!

S: What about boys below the age of 12 who are sodomized..

M: Covers them too.....Child Rape....no anticipatory bail and trial within 2 months of registeration of the Crime...

S: Investigation and Justice hurried are Improper Investigation and Justice burried..

M: Investigation and Justice delayed... are Investigation and Justice Waylaid...

S: The job of reforming Society should be left to experts like us...and then you  have Modi who has cut funding of many NGOs...touchwood ...not mine!!!

M: Fact is its been found many NGOs in the name of Social Work were into Religious Conversion.... Politics.....money conversion .....etc activities...but primary reason was that these NGOs were getting Foreign Funding without having FCRA permission...

S: Coming back to this Rape Ordinance... what if the Rapist has kids below 12 who are dependent on him... aren't you in a way harming them by hanging him...

M: I'm sure his Lawyer will make this plea to the Judge...Hanging is the maximum sentence ....Judge based on barbarity can give life sentence or death....but tell me a terrorist kills people

.. he has a family ...now should he be forgiven because of his Family...

S: World has become too materialistic and cruel....

M: Lady why the hell don't you see the cruelty of these rapists...

S: But they've raped not killed..

M: That's why beyond the age of innocence the sentence is not death... raping a child is like trampling on a flower....its unnatural age for sex..... its hilt of cruelty....

S: You  damn people will never see the rational view.. (calling the Waiter).... My bill!!

Waiter: Madam our Billing Machine is on the blink... I will give you a Kucha Bill... you can come tomorrow and take the formal bill...

S: No way.... I need the Bill for my accounts... or I will have to pay from my pocket for this Coffee...if you want the money ...give me the bill...

M: So Ma'am this is the reality of the NGO lot.....90% of Revenue goes to your Salaries...TA and DA....lunches and dinners... coffees...and just 20% to the cause..

S: Buzz off.....
