Is Gehlot, Manmohan Singh of Rahul Gandhi ?

In case Congress gets close of forming the Government political observers say Rahul Gandhi instead of becoming PM, would support Ashok Gehlot  for the post of PM. Infact, Sonia Gandhi  preferred Manmohan Singh  for the post rather than becoming the PM.

Deve Gowda to extend support to BJP  ?

It is said that former PM Devegowda  has made  hidden pact that his party would support the BJP after the Vidhan Sabha elections in forming the Government in Karnataka.

Ill advised move

It's hot today and my Lawyer Friend drags me to a nearby chilled Coffee Shop and over Chilled Frappes and Biscottis we get chatting.

Me: So VP has rejected the Impeachment Motion..just read the tweet of a PIL Expert Lawyer... he says the job of VP is to just verify the numbers..signatures... and send Motion to a 3 Member Committee..Postman hai kya!

Friend: As if the VP is just a bean - counter .... arre its his job to evaluate whether there is Merit in the Motion .....to put it simply....worth taking up.... does it prove the misconduct angle ....here the Motion was just full of innuendos ...

M: And he can decide Suo-Moto if he feels its just a politically motivated motion....or a Political Party doesn't like a Judgement..so it gets 50 MPs to sign a Petition and puts the SC into a logjam....this is not Democracy but Mobcracy!!

F: Chairman of RS is the litmus test for admission .....this ill advised move has RaGa written all over it.....only he can come up with such an immature plan....though its possible a well known Congi Lawyer could have needled him....

M: Practically all the senior Leaders deserted him...though Congress tried to save face by saying.... we did not ask them to sign the Motion... fact is a few of them even gave statements against  this Motion...

F: Will Congress approach SC ....some say could call for a National Debate and cut its losses and save face. If it approaches SC... CJI need not recuse himself from his Duties....including Roster... as Motion has been rejected by Chairman of RS and this is an appeal against his rejection....so the CJI can constitute a Bench to hear this Petition..

M: And the 4 Judges should not be part of the Bench as they are now 'interested Parties'.... bias is clearly established...CJI too will not be part of this Bench...naturally!

F: Congress's hope was to ensure that CJI becomes a lame duck CJI till his retirement....

M: And now RaGa wants 15 minutes ....

F: What again 15 minutes.... he said this in Talkatora Stadium and he could have taken an hour to say what he wants to say....

M: Now Civil Society and some Religious Bodies objecting to the Minor's Rape Ordinance.

F: It was expected...just Google and check out which lot are involved max in rape of Minors...paedophilia...

M: Whatever they may say a strong deterrent was the need of the hour...

L: They say Death Sentences don't reduce Murders... arre how do they know... just remove the Death Sentence and then see the spurt in Murders...

M: What's this 'Save Constitution' that RaGa has launched...

F: Maybe he's atoning for the sins of his Elders... all of them amended Constitution umpteen number of times...and what all did Indhra did with Judiciary and Constitution...

M: The other day accompanied my Nephew to JNU ...he has to accompany his Dad to US...so some formalities had to be done..

F: Did you notice one glaring fact .... the average age of students is 56 and of the faculty 52...ha ha ....

M: Ha ha ..... yes at a Dhaba on the Campus did notice quite a few Oldie Students...

F: This lot has made being a Student into a Career... and financially  they are doing pretty well...paid agitations etc.

We get busy finishing off the sandwiches and start talking about our passion... Golf
