If BJP wins in Karnataka.....

Fingers are crossed in various circles that if BJP wins in the Karnataka Assembly elections then one thing is certain that there will be a complete overhaul of bureaucracy there.

My friend who works for a Policy Think Tank and dabbles in Psephology as a hobby drops in to meet me. Over Coffee and Jim-Jam and Bourbon  biscuits  we get chatting.

Me: Yaar what's your prediction for Karnataka.....

Friend: Haathi ke foot mein sabh ka foot... BJP will form Government....

M: But Congi Media saying that as polling percentage is lower than last time ......by 4% ...so this is bad news for BJP..

F: On the turnout...in BJP and JD (S) strongholds 70%+ turnout. Its Congress strongholds where voter turnout was low. It cannot be that BJP voters only came out in BJP strongholds and stayed at home in Congress strongholds.  So in fact even in Congress strongholds BJP voters came out. So BJP should do well in Congress strongholds...

M: And another flaw in the fixed psephology.....both Congress and JD (U) can't do equally well... if Congress gets above 100... JD (U) will be in single digits... and if JD (U)  gets  40 Congress would get near about 70...

F: Yup inversely proportional because of common vote bank..

M: I hear now Sonia planning to stand from Chikmanglur in the LS election..

F: That must have been their plan... but now that BJPs coming to power in Karnataka .... they will need to rethink...

M: I think the only safe seat for her is Patiala....

F: Yeah... in her campaigning she should promise that in Patiala she'll mandate for billing purposes the Patiala Peg will be a Chota Peg....

M: When is RaGa embarking on his Kedarnath Yatra...

F: If I know him... he'll at most fly to Kedarnath ...and then fly to Italy via Bangkok...don't even ask why to Italy via Bangkok....

M: With the entire Opposition  ganging up...Modi has to come up with results that will tilt the balance in BJP's favor ....1/ Jobs spurt in organised sector.....2/ Universal Health and MSP results  start to show up......3. Ram Mandir 4.Nirav Modi and Choksi and/or Mallya deported to India..... 5. Surgical strike or someone like Dawood neutralized....

F: I'm  sure they'll  be having a gameplan....I think just the solidifying of Hindu vote with BJP should do the needful....so Ram Mandir is vital...

M: One Durbaari Journo has lamented the lowering of the discourse in this election....

F: Like Modi said ...rozz 1 ..2

Kgs gaali khaatha hoo...but he doesn't react...election time when the Opposition guns for him he replies... though he doesn't call Sonia or Rahul names...

M: Now Trump doing a Modi... tweeted his Administration is now working  on lowering Prescription  Drug prices..

F: Here Jan Aushadi Shops doing a good job...

M: And both Trump and Modi have found the  medicine to keep biased Media in place..

F: Its called 'Ignoreton'...whenever they feel there is chance of infection they take one goli... aur gaali-galoch ko goli maar dethe hai...

We have a good laugh and I see my friend off at the door.....
