In West Bengal, only rigging culture works

Political observers in West Bengal say that rigging culture started by the CPI (M) in West Bengal has now been further developed by the Trinamool Congress.  Now is it the turn of BJP ?

No takers for achievements

Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was telling about achievements of his ministry in a PC in Delhi but mediamen were more interested in Petrol Diesel price rise. They asked many questions about this but the minister was not having a convincing answer.

Populist Modi...

Plains are burning so I drive to Cool Shimla. I meet my Respected Friend...retired Senior Bureaucrat... at a Eatery in lower Bazar that specializes in Samosaa..Jalebis and Adrak Tea.

Me: How's the Water Problem..

Respected Friend: As it is I use water responsibly..so wife and me are fine!!

M: So Citizen Pranab has got the Gandhis hopping mad...

RF: That's because they  expect their minions to take their permission for everything..

M: Not only did Pranab Da not take permission he also gave them two messages... one I'm not your minion... and two.. don't take me for granted.

RF: And Bhagwat and Pranab Da made the same points in their speeches.....only one spoke in English and the other in Hindi..

M: And Pranab Da agreed with RSS theory that India was a civilization and Nation centuries before 1947...

RF: He did take Nehru's name but his crediting Sardar Patel

and his calling Hedgewar a great son of India must have made Gandhis see red..

M: One Gandhi minion went to the  extent of saying Pranab Da doing this to try for another term in Rashtrapathi Bhavan...and another Congi saying.....trying for a Bharat Ratna....

RF: Stupidity.....Pranab  Da has deftly handled Indira.. Rajiv... Sonia and even Rahul... he'll answer them in his own way.... maybe his next Book...

M: Do you feel Modi's popularity is down...

RF: There's a lull in the 'rating market'..... expect it'll restart post upcoming State Elections...

M: I hear Congress had done a internal survey of whose popular......amongst Congis.....yes amongst Congis... 35% felt Modi is number one....RaGa got 39%...expectedly he came number one....voting was done via slips ...anonymously...

RF:  Like I told you when we last met rumblings in Karnataka have already started... Congress must have got wind of this so Congress has come up with ....power by rotation..so that everyone gets a taste of power...

M: As it is from Day 1 Congress demanding CM by rotation...

RF: Was on Twitter.... and a well known TV Journo whose been out of work for some time is on the verge of starting a English News Channel..

M: I read about it too....seems a Congi has enthused her and arranged for Funds too...but was surprised to read her tweets which I feel are Promo Tweets.... that she's been threatened...and her house is bugged...etc...

RF: Fact is Journos have never been  more free... the Darbari Journos attack Modi night and day... even make fun of him....have you heard anyone of them complain about any persecution...no...never..

M: Maybe this Journo trying  to  say only she matters in the anti Modi Brigade and so she's being threatened..

RF: Promo or sheer Schizophrenia.....unlike the UPA Government, this Government has not blocked anyone attacking it politically on Social Media....

M: Yes.... for example Didi.... anti Didi or anti TMC tweets or posts could be injurious to the tweeters or posters freedom...

when do you expect Modi to turn populist...

RF: Not stupidly or rashly populist.... never at the cost of Deficit...you can say a well thought of and planned effort to reward the People for their understanding  and cooperation for the past 4 years...

M: Not like MMS's way.... like all the Nation's resources are for Hindus...

RF: Never.... he's not desperate for power..... as can be seen by the decisions  he's taken..and he'll never undo what he's done...

M: Sir lets move out and undo our calorie intake here...

RF: Yes 2 rounds of the Mall...

We pay the tab and move out.

Modi Down But Not Out
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity is going down with each passing day, they say. “Modi as PM has not been able to fulfill the aspirations of people and, thus, he should go”. But then Who is the PM material in the country ?

whispersinthecorridors.com asked its surfers - Is there a substitute for PM Narendra Modi in BJP or any other political party ? If so, who ? – and the majority said that the country is, at present, short of having a person of the stature of Modi.

DEBATE

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
