This is History (937)

"The yogi who diligently strives, perfecting [gradually] through many incarnations, becomes completely free from all sins and reaches the Self-realization."

BJP in its golden age?

BJP, under the leadership of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, has All India presence. BJP and its allies are in the govts in 20 states. BJP got this mileage in a short period of four years. Is it not a golden period of BJP ?

Is AAP running the govt via Committees?

Arvind Kejariwal led AAP govt is seems  helpless before the LG, Delhi because LG is the Head of Administration. AAP has formed many Committees of MLAs and calling  officers before these Committees which has been formed by the Speaker Vidhan Sabha.

One Nation One Ethics

I'm still in cool Shimla.... today I meet my respected friend at a Coffee Shop on the Mall...over Coffees and Muffins we get chatting.

Me: So Pawar feels the Maoist threat letter is a sham...

Respected Friend: You recall when he was slapped..... his supporters made it look as if it was an attack on the Nation..

M: They can grossly exaggerate or grossly under-rate...

RF: Today even if someone waves a hullo at him ...he'll behave as if he's under attack from BJP....

M: In fact if there was a course on being a Leader taught to budding  Leaders... with Laloo ...Pawar would be study cases as to what a Leader should not become....this Lateral Entry  has got Congis up in arms..

RF: Any decision by this Government will have them up in arms...don't we Bureaucrats take study leave to  work in the Private Sector....so what's wrong in getting people from the Private Sector to work in the Government .....on 3-5 year Contracts.... untouched by the system...  with a totally different outlook towards working.... decision making.....its like injecting fresh blood at the Joint Secretary level...damn good idea...

M: Yes by now they'd have imbibed a lot working in the Private Sector....quick decision making... a new outlook to team work...a different kind of accountability...

RF: Actually the way Congress works they'd find such recruits detrimental to their way of running the Government....we know Congress prefers Dynasts for a reason......BJP welcomes all into the Party for a reason....Congress looks for 'retainers'....

M: Yes only Dynasts get responsibilities and rise in Congress...in BJP even a Chai Walla rises to the top...when it comes to Bureaucrats... they prefer those they've nurtured over time...only BJP welcomes fresh blood...when BJP came to power it did did not rehaul Bureaucracy.... had Congress been in BJP's place would have rehauled and got its favorites into crucial Ministries...

RF: BJP ki progressive  soch..Congress ki chaploos soch...

M: Hear Nirav Modi has got Asylum in UK...

RF: Those who looted India would be happy to give Asylum to those who also have looted India..

M: And the Brits phooh-phooh at our Jails... these were the same Jails they jailed Indians in...

RF: Money makes the World go round... these fugitives pledge to invest in the Country  giving them refuge....

M: Fact is unless India does not make this giving Amnesty to fugitives from Indian into a issue that could affect relations with UK..... Brits will never let go off these gold egg laying hens..

RF: This reminds me....a 319 of Vijay Mallya seized since 2013 is parked at Mumbai Airport. It shows the limitation of Indian Judicial & Banking System..... No quick resolution

....Plane will get rusted lying unused resulting in no recovery of money.....unused assets create a burden on economy...

M: If the ammount involved in thuggery is substantial seems you have the upper hand..

RF: Wonder what hold do some people have on Judiciary that they manage to get bail... when granting of bail defies every logic... and Judges even give a midnight hearing to grant bail in such cases...

M: Worrisome situation.....allegedly obliging Courts.... Darbari Media....Politically affiliated Bureaucrats....

RF: Arre if you compare what took place during Congress this is minuscule.... one more term for Modi and this all will disappear..

M: One Nation ...One Ethics...

We pay the tab and mover out.....

Modi Down But Not Out
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity is going down with each passing day, they say. “Modi as PM has not been able to fulfill the aspirations of people and, thus, he should go”. But then Who is the PM material in the country ?

whispersinthecorridors.com asked its surfers - Is there a substitute for PM Narendra Modi in BJP or any other political party ? If so, who ? – and the majority said that the country is, at present, short of having a person of the stature of Modi.

DEBATE

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
