This is History (952)

There are two kinds of people, those who do the work and those who take the credit. Try to be in the first group; there is less competition there.

Is Media discredited ?

People now say that Media in the country has been discredited in the Modi regime. It can be good topic of discussion.

Now bureaucrats are friendly with the opposition ?

Who is supplying documents to the opposition ? Insiders say that disgruntled officials are in touch with the opposition leaders in the country and supplying weak points of the Government.

Reformist Curse

I'm back in sweltering Delhi.... my morning Coffee fix Cafe is pretty chilled... order my Coffee and a Donut. On the adjacent table is a Gentleman who looks every bit a Fauji. My inquisitiveness gets the better of me and I strike a converstation with him.

Me: I can bet you are a Fauji.

Gentleman:  Roger that.... though I'm now a retired Fauji working for a Defence Strategy Think Tank....

M: The Army just released a  Surgical Strike video..

G: High time they did it.. to shut-up the naysayers. In a way Chaps like this Jhonny RaGa doubted the Army's potential to undertake such a daring  strike..

M: Though I'm sure in his heart he did not doubt Modi's potential to allow the Army to retaliate via a Surgical Strike...

G: DGMO even appeared  on TV and gave info... but sadly this Jhonny RaGa and his gang refused to even believe the DGMO... in a way politicised the Army...we are not damn Politicians to lie ....and that too to the Nation... by Jove.. if I met this Jhonny RaGa I'll give him a piece of my mind...

M: What's your take on OROP...

G: Ask any Fauji ...they'll all agree that they are much better off than before...we too have to understand the limitations of the Government...I truly believe

..kissi ko mukkamal jahaan nahi millta kaheen zameen nahi millti kaheen aasman nahi millta...I'm from Hyderabad.... was pretty cut-up with this Bozo RaGa...he ran to meet Vajpayee despite being advised not to... but when it came to PVNR.... leave meeting him his vengeful Mother did not even allow PVNR's last rights in Delhi... something that was his right...

M: Yup they are vengeful... I am 100% sure in their vengeance (allege) they've been working to tarnish India's good name....they hired Cambridge Analytica ...and I'm sure this Thompson Reuter report that makes India a Monster when it comes to Women is the handiwork of their hired Agency!! I have no qualms alleging this!!

G: Government needs to be very careful now on handling AWOL Mallya's case...

M: Government's efforts have brought him to his knees...

G: I think his missive to the Court is a double edged sword....if accepted he hopes he will be able to negotiate not going to jail...if not accepted this will be used to fight extradition...his Lawyers will say... he's offered to settle but India's being reasonable!! Waise Economy is doing pretty good...

M: Defenitely ... all parameters vouch for this... but ....every ecomical cycle has 4 phases...trough.. expansion...peak and contraction ...but sadly in India only two phases... ruin by Congress and consolidation and strengthening by NDA!!

G: Problem is with us .... like bloody jokers we've voted out every reformist Government ...be it PVNR's or Vajapyee's..

M: In the last year if BJP takes some bold steps...370... Ram Mandir.... and like Malaysia takes some stringent action against those alleged to have been involved in Corruption..with these steps  I feel this Government will successfully fight the electoral curse of being Reformist!!

G: In Malaysia the ex PM is behind bars... and $ 230 million siezed in cash and kind confiscated..here the Corrupt still strut like Peacocks...hope this Government does something...

M: Coming back to Mallya... Creditors now taunt Debtors... abh toh Mallya bhi paisa lauta  raha hai abh Tuh kabh lautaaye ga....

We have a good laugh....pay our tabs and move out...

Modi Down But Not Out
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity is going down with each passing day, they say. “Modi as PM has not been able to fulfill the aspirations of people and, thus, he should go”. But then Who is the PM material in the country ?

whispersinthecorridors.com asked its surfers - Is there a substitute for PM Narendra Modi in BJP or any other political party ? If so, who ? – and the majority said that the country is, at present, short of having a person of the stature of Modi.

DEBATE

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
