Banker: Checked before leaving Office... Rupee was up by 16 paise... the Greenback gained against almost all major currencies on the back of stronger economic data from the US and concerns over trade war with China. Rupee has also been under pressure because of rising oil prices and a US threat to stop crude imports from Iran, India’s third-largest oil supplier. And by the way Rupee has smartly appreciated against other currencies....

M: I just read despite the fall Rupee is amongst the least vulnerable currencies...because of our low dependence on International debt..what's  this news that Indian Deposits in Swiss Banks up by 50% to 7000 crores..

B: Well first ... do remember touched 23000 crores during UPA's time. Well ....with the new KYC Norms and AEOI with India and 40 Jurisdictions it would only be suicidal to invest black money in Switzerland .... by 2019 India will get all the data....yes many Indians like those in Gulf prefer to keep bulk of their money outside Gulf.... Switzerland is the preferred destination....

M: A big chunk is legit money..... after a few photo ops and rants RaGa's slinked away.... and Congis hearing the news must have heaved a sigh of relief....jokingly... is there a link to his trips and upping of Indian deposits in Switzerland...

B: RaGa's said if Congress comes to power there will be just one GST rate 18%.... doesn't he know Malaysia dumped its single rate GST... how can the GST be same on a Mercedes and essentials....

M: Arre I get the feeling that he utters rubbish because he wants to stay in Public Glare... without his stupidities he'd be out of sight out of mind...

B: What's this controversy about Yogi refusing to wear a Kharkhal Cap offered to him to wear at the Mazaar of Kabir ji..

M: Kabir ji's real Samadhi housing his relics is in Maghar. I've not seen any painting of Kabir ji wearing a Kharkhal cap.. the type offered to Yogi...

B: Bottom line ...eating beef is a choice, Azaan at 4 am is a choice, not standing to National Anthem is a choice, not singing Vande Matram is a choice, but wearing a ‘topi’ is a compulsion otherwise your secularism certificate gets cancelled immediately.

M: Seems Muslims feel if you wear the Fez Cap you are in agreement with tenets of Islam...

B: As I see it... when in a minority they cry persecution.... and when in a majority they ruthlessly persecute..

M: Joke doing  rounds... at his Iftar RaGa didn't wear the Fez Cap... seeing this one Muslim compained to the other ... the response was... izzat bachch gayi... do a poll and 90% Muslims will say...let him be a Jenudhaari...unn ki bezati honne doh...

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
