BJP- states have increased but number of seats decreased

Political observers say that  number of  BJP ruled states has increased  but the number of Members in the Parliament has decreased.

Now Chief Ministers are  not listening to Modi-Shah duo ?

It is widely believed in the political circles that Chief Ministers are not listening to the Modi-Shah duo. Any significance ?

ECONOMY

My friend is closely associated with a Economy Think Tank. He drops in and over Coffee and Croissants we get chatting.

Me: I still feel Modi Government should have taken out a White Paper on the condition of the Economy after they took over...what they  inherited from UPA..

Friend: Yes this would have been the logical thing to do.... the figures were suspect.... as someone said ...pitfalls galore.. data was also suspect....

M: So why not make it all Public..

F: Well for one could cause panic... secondly would affect our ratings overseas.....must have been a thought over decision... not to make the Economy rot public...why let damage ...damage India more...he put aside politics for Nation First..

M: When it comes to data ...even then Economists doubted various figures put out by the UPA Government...they used to call these as Sarkaari figures...

F: Some were fudged or manipulated and some because of faulty data were erroneous ... like Jobs...it's now being corrected.... and there is a huge upswing in Jobs

M: Aadhar.... GST and Demo.... the amount of disinformation that's been spread is phenomenal.

F: The results are there for all to see... pruning of bogus beneficiaries.... phenomenal rise in indirect taxation....Demo has made the economy more formalized and rise in direct taxation.... fact is Modi steered the Economy out of decay left by Economist PM and 'Know it all' FM...

M: Congress and AAP claiming Modi's fitness Video cost  35 lacs...

F:  Foolish...a Videographer videotaped Modi's regemin...would have cost next to nothing..... fitness regemin using equipment that cost next to nothing. Congis and Aapians know their Bosses spend a fortune on their fitness....... RaGa would not want Public to see his personal Gym/or Gym he goes to ...  the swanky and expensive equipment .. and Kejri would have to fly to Bangalore to shoot the video clip...

M: A Congi says he's got a RTI response that there is no proof about Modi having been a Chaiwalla..

F: Was licensing required then.... no.... you could open a vend anywhere... even today there are scores of unlicensed tea vends... and by the way Modi worked for his Dad....

M: Frustrated lot.. desperate to find something to slam Modi  with..

F: Sushma is hell bent on antognizing BJP supporters..she seems to be playing to the Darbaari Gallery.....who have come out in support of her..

M: Her mindset is revealed ...on Twitter she follows no one ... wheras someone like Modi follows 1941 people...she doesn't even follow her Cabinet colleagues ... whereas Modi follows his Cabintet colleagues.. see the humility of Modi..and ego of Sushma...

F: Too melodramatic if you ask me... and now even her hubby has jumped in....he's been tweeting about her role as a dutiful wife....what have we got to do with her personal life...

M: A Overbridge has collapsed in Mumbai..

F: Was BMC's responsibility....so Sena will in all probability make noise... blame others.. and may destruct  some Public Property...  its their SOP...

M: Now I undestand why Modi wanted limited Sena participation in his Cabinet....

F: Modi bahut lambhi ki sochchte hai...

M: Like 'Congress Mukth Bharat'....

We have a good laugh and I see my friend off at the door...

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
