Is the opposition unity real ?

Everyone knew that Modi government will not fall in the aftermath of the no confidence motion tabled against it on Friday. What was important to see was that how many votes each side gets and which side has more cracks -- the opposition or ruling coalition. Astonishingly enough, there were 325 votes for the government despite opposition’s claim that many ruling coalition members were with it. The BJP has only 274 (331 with allies) Members in the lower house and the so called united opposition has to content with 126 votes. As many as 48 Members, however, abstained from voting.

Who can face Modi ?

A big question these days is that Who can face the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on dais ? It is said that only Shashi Tharoor can face him on dais and emerge victorious. Any takers ?.

Bachchkaana...

I'm still in Shimla and today I meet my respected friend ...retired Senior Bureaucrat.....at his home post the Vote on the No Confidence Motion. Over tea and muffins we get chatting. 

Me: In the morning there was news that RaGa had misplaced his speech ...

Respected Friend: News plant.....  maybe he was having a rethink if he should speak in Parliament....

M: But when he spoke it was vintage RaGa.... 15 lac became 15000....Modi ji bar jaathe hai....fumbled and clarified he meant bahar jaathe.... was like a broken record... 15 lacs... jobs....Rafalle etc etc. And then started the real Comedy  Show...

RF: Ha ...ha.... started with ....Congress is not an angry Party... what a joke... in anger what language they've used for PM..... and when Congress cadres get angry.... a few trees shake and 10,000   people are killed......then RaGa childishly bragged   'My Party MPs praised me for my speech during adjournment ... even BJP MPs praised me..... and then Akali Dal MP was smiling at me'.... later Harsimrat Badal clarified ...she was not smiling but was wanting to ask him what he smoked in the morning!!

M: His Rafalle barb ended with 12 eggs on his face .... Raksha Mantri punctured his allegation...and then French Government and French President issued  statements that trashed his charge....and by the way after he had met French President he had tweeted about the meeting but then he had made no mention of Rafalle...why????

RF: Then the icing on the cake......childishly he said PM can't look him in the eye...and PM burst out laughing while staring at him...and then RaGa

went and hugged PM....  its against protocol... he could have hugged Narendra Modi later outside in the Hall... hugging PM in Parliament was a no no.....and then he returned to his seat and winked at Scindia... meaning it was all a joke!!

M: Isse galle lagnaa nahi galle padna kehte hai...and he was out of place asking PM to stand!!! His speech was khokla ......

RF: Yes very Bachchkaana act..... he rightly called himself Pappu!! I'd say Pappu and Gappu!!

M: I think when Mulayam Singh speaks in Parliament.... LS TV  should give subtitles....

RF: And Rajnath Singh effectively punctured Congress's claim that it gave and preserved Democracy....

M: I simply don't understand ....on what grounds did Sonia appoint Kharge LOP....and Didi's MPs need tutorials on how and why India has progressed...AIADMK speeches were more like  propoganda ...

RF: TRS MPs seemed to be more  angry with Congress..... TDP's American Accent MP forgot that AP is not the only State in India and then which Party broke up erstwhile AP....

M: And then PM spoke.... what a speech..... doh daala!!

RF: Every stupidity of RaGa explained.... and his revelations on NPA were really revealing.... the Phone Banking via which Loans were doled out!!!

M: So brutal was Modi's attack that RaGa was left making faces and his Mother looked flabbergasted!!

RF: Abh when you scold a Bachcha what else will he do.....make faces.... aur kya!!

And in the end Opposition neither got Optics nor Numbers.... and BJP emerged bigger!!

M: Left Congress in such a bad situation that Congress can't dare to even use its standard excuse when they are bashed.....Moral Victory!!
