BJD is more stronger in Odisha ?

BJD, the ruling party in Odisha, is becoming more stronger in Odisha. According to experts, party is doing solid work at grass root level and posing threat to opposite parties.

Will BJP improve its tally ?

Observers feels that BJP is likely to improve its tally in the Assembly elections which are due next year. If this happens, than Congress which holds second position in Odisha Assembly will be major sufferer.

What will be Panda's future ?

Political leaders in Odisha are cautiously watching the next step of  Baijayant Panda , MP and former BJD leader. After expulsion from BJD, he has not yet joined any party. Now the big question is, will he fight election as an independent candidate or will seek support from any political party ? One source says that this time he would likely opt Rajya Sabha rout.

5 Star Aam Aadmis

My friend who is a VP in a renowned Hospitality Group drops in for a Coffee. Over Coffee and Chocolate Eclairs we get chatting.

Me: What would the Room Tarrif in a Five Star Property in Bangalore be.....

Friend: Rack rate  about 20,000... why you going there...

M: No ....no.... a Newspaper has revealed the Hotel Bills some of our Netas ran up ....they were in Bangalore for Karunanidhi's swearing-in for just one night.... prominent one's...Naidu 7+ lacs.... Yechury 64000....Tejaswi 1 lac.... Sharad Yadav 1.67 lacs...Aki 1 lac and Kejri 1.85 lacs...total Hospitality  Bill Karnataka Government paid was 42 lacs..

F: Yes Political Leaders do give us some very good business..

M: What fummoxes is .. Kejri ran up a Room Service Food and Beverage Bill of 85,000 ...must have served Truffles with Gold Foil to his guests...and he calls himself a Aam Aadmi...

F: Yes.... his Reynolds pen and Paragon slippers seem to be part of his disguise to look ordinary.....must have had quite  a few Guests in his Room to run up such a hefty Bill..

M: And neither  for Yeddy's or Sidha's swearing-in did the Karnataka Government foot such hospitality Bills....

F: We do get Corporate and  marriage Bookings...the hosts limit the 'on the house' usage and the Guests are politely informed in the Welcome Letter from the Host...

M: Next time these Leaders are invited I am sure the Hosts will make it clear... only Room and Buffet Meals and that too only for Guest whose name Room is Booked... no Booze...

F: I'm sure max embarrassment for Kejri... because he calls  himself a Aam Aadmi... sorry but yeh Aam Aadmi ke lachchan nahi hothe hai...and Naidu's Bill sure is fummoxing...

M: In the Corporate Sector we do have employees running up huge Entertainment dummy Bills..... the Billing Establishment refunds them the ammount after deducting Taxes and retaining about 5%....

F: No..no.... 5 Star Properties don't encourage such adjustments....

M: If I'm invited ...On The House...I would go out of my way to ensure that my Bill is as less as possible..

F: Netas don't think and behave like us....

M: And in the end Bangloreans will pay for this Hotel splurge...

F: We elect them... we know their habits...

M: Kejri is not bothered even when it comes to his Government footing Bills... like his Chai Samosa Bill...I think it was a Crore...

F: Now in Society whenever anyone says 'he's an Aam Aadmi'... people think this person is loaded and a real spendthrift..

M: Kejri is Aam Aadmi... Aki is Samaajwadi....Naidu is People's Man..... Tejaswani is Gareebo ka Messiah....their Hotel spend belie their Titles..

F: What about RaGa...

M: Yuvraj.... joh nah toh raha Yuva... aur Raaj toh raha nahi..

We have a good laugh and I see my Friend off at the door..
