Mumbai Satta Bazar gives 175 to 185 seats ?

If whispers doing the Satta market in Mumbai are to be believed, the BJP will get 175 to 185 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha polls.

Who will be PM in 2019 ?

According to whispers in the Satta Market in Mumbai, Nitin Gadkari will be PM with the open support of the Shiv Sena and NCP.

My friend is a Maverick Economist.... he works for a Investment Bank and also teaches Economics . We meet at my Office and over Desi Lattes and JimJam and Bourbon Biscuits we get chatting.

Friend: This hue and cry on Fuel prices in my opnion is because of either lack of  knowledge on this issue or because some want to villify this Government...

Me: You have the Durbaari Media just adding Oil to the Fire...

F:  See first you must understand the real value of IRs., say in 2010 real value of  Rs. 48 (price of Petrol then) was much more than the real value of Rs. 80 today ( price of petrol today). In 10 years of UPA the real value of the Rupee fell considerably. Its not fallen at the same speed post 2014...here see this Chart..

M: (Study it) ...Inflation.... actual Petrol prices... Equivalent Petrol prices.... now this is very interesting..

F: Comparatively if you see...  during UPA 1 the Petrol Prices were very high...moderate during UPA 2 and even more Moderate during 4 years of this Government..

M: I did a rough calculation on the impact of fuel prices on 2 Wheeler and 4 Wheeler Owners..... on an average 2 Wheelers the price impact is 200.00 /month... 4 wheelers it's  800 /month. Caveat.... only Middle Class and below....not rich....

F: Taking this route... then what about the benefits accruing because of ....lower Income Tax .... lower inflation....lower Home Loans etc ........in last 4 years all these have come down..

M: Rulaane aur Ronne waalo ko bahaana chahiye...

F: Ultimately if Fuel is brought under GST.... I think GST on Fuel will be 28%. Both Centre and States will have to give up huge chunks of Revenue. Down to 28% from 35-40% in case of Diesel and 45-50% in case of Petrol...maybe 28% for Petrol and 18% for Diesel ....

M: And these comparisions of Oil prices during UPA and now are also flawed  because there was no Dynamic pricing during UPA....

F: I heard a Star Lawyer of Congress say that once they have the Documents in the Rafalle Deal , Congress will file a case...so that means all this hulla by Congress is based on hearsay ...

M: But then this is Congress's speciality.... keep repeating lies or hearsay ..... funda is ....soon it starts sounding like  the truth...

F: I'm sure when the NPV comparitive is presented.... ....including.... Financing... the technicals comparitive and price impact... the price this Government has negotiated  will be much lower than the price Rafalle quoted when UPA was in power...

M: Till then Congress can spread carnards....haven't you noticed rest of Opposition  keeps away from this issue..

F : Speaking of Opposition... Laloo has requested RIMS Hospital to shift him to another Ward as dog barks don't let him sleep...

M: Kabhi iss ko Mosquitoes bite karte hai... sometimes dogs bark...sometimes demands better medical facilities....what does he think he's Sarkaar's Jamai.... he's taking going to Sasural literally.... in slang it means going to jail ..... arre yeh sabh sochchna tha before 'eating  chaara'!!!

F: Heard this joke the other day..  Rahul is not Jenudhari he's JNUdhaari ...
