Now NPA matter is boiling. On whose recommendations bankers  provided big loans to  businessmen  during the UPA regime ? The 10 Janpath  ? The then PMO bigwigs ? The then Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee’s personal staff ? The then Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s office or a few banking secretaries ? Now the details are being compiled in the PMO. How many heads are going to be exposed ?

Will Navin Patnaik be PM ?

In a political gathering some people said that in the event of Coalition Government, Odisha CM Navin Patnaik may emerge as a PM candidate. They said he was non-controversial, intelligent, honest and has Devegowda style of functioning.

My friend ....who is a avid Traveller..Political Watcher....and Blogger joins me for a Cuppa at my favourite Cafe. Over Cookies and Lattes we get chatting.

Friend: So desperate Mallya now trying to embroil FM ... though later he corroborated what Jaitley said.....in response to Mallya's 'I will settle my loans' ....Jaitley said... 'Speak to the Banks'!

Me: He's an MP and he met FM in RS Corridors.... but why would he even hint about going overseas.....as is being alluded by Durbaris...if he had hinted this the first thing Jaitley would have verified about was his Travel Notice...and on finding it to be Inform would have got it changed to Detain....after all its his Ministry  that has opened Mallya's  NPAs Pandora's Box.....  RaGa is accused  in the National Herald case and is out on Bail.... here are pics of him meeting Jaitley.... does this mean Jaitley's helping him...

F: RaGa creating a hullabaloo on Mallya's, later retracted, statement... fact is why should this FM want Mallya to go overseas... this FM was not involved in the decision making when Mallya got loans... or when extensions were given to Mallya... or was advising MMS when MMS said ....Kingfisher should be saved!!

M: In fact this FM would want Mallya to stay here and pay up ...had this FM been pally with Mallya... the matter would lie dormant  like it did during UPA....

F: Congress knows the loans were sanctioned and given when UPA was in power...they are trying to shift blame by trying to show Jaitley let Mallya go....

M: I think UK Court is now satisfied with Arthur Road Jail conditions.... may Order Mallya be given Medical Treatment at Hospital of his choice... of course he would pay...may add as he's got Medical issues he be allowed a special Diet...I'm sure his Lawyers would be making grounds so that he can do a Laloo and stay in a Hospital ...seems they are resigned to the fact that he will be sent back to India..next hearing is on December 5.

F: So Mallya will try to get the best deal in the worst scenario...

M: I think he made the statement about meeting FM to show Government  knew he was going overseas.... so he's technically not run away...in a way his running  away weakens his case...

F: Congress conveniently forgetting it's own role....I think its time Government released the letters Mallya wrote to then PM and FM.....there's so much that Congress's true role would be exposed...

M: Yes....like Mallya wanted the then FM to order PSU Bank Heads to meet him.... seems they were not meeting him...and also to expedite his Loans...

F: Its time BJP took some concrete steps to win the battles of perception...its crucial now!!

M: What should make Indians sit up and take note... Congress believes what crooks say...what India's enemies say.... but it does not believe in the Government of India.... its Defence Forces... its Constitutional Bodies...

F: Chief of Air Staff has confirmed Rafalles are what India needs and that India has got a better Deal than UPA was getting for India..... and you have Congress's Supporter at Large.... a relative of Jeeja ji.... saying .... inducements like Governerships and RS berths for doing the needful.

M: I hear RSS is going to hand deliver invite to RaGa to address RSS Members...the Sangh wanting other  Ideologies to Lecture on Future of Bharat...

F: So for coming days RaGa will play hide and seek...he'll hide and RSS Reps will seek him...at such an event no choreography is possible.....if he accepts it'll be like RaGa exposing his iinadequacies....notionally suicidal..

M: In Singapore he enjoined MRIs....at the RSS meet ...if he lectures.....for Bharat's Future he'll enjoin all the toilets.....

F: Would  love to know his logic....

M: Will promote Ekta....... humm judhe hai..... we are connected.....

We have a good laugh and I pay the tab and we move out...

Who can be “Imran’ of India ?

Cricketers, all over the world, are some of the most influential characters across spheres of life.

Imran Khan, the newly elected PM of Pakistan, thus, is not the only one who turned to politics after retiring from the Cricket pitch. There are many others across the world who,  after constantly inspiring on the cricketing field, went an extra mile in their endeavour to give back to the society that gave them immense love.

And in doing so, after proving their might on the cricket field, a number of players have from time to time turned to politics in several countries. It is another matter that all of them could not repeat their feats in the political ring.

In India too there have been several cricket stalwarts who after retirement ventured into politics either of their own or on being lured by the political parties.

But the million dollar question is – Who among them has the potential to become 'Imran Khan' of India ?
