Can Sonia back Sharad Pawar ?

In some political circles people say that seeing the lesser evil Sonia Gandhi may back Sharad pawar for the PMs post. And Pawar to fulfill his life time ambition may take along all the political parties opposed to the BJP. And the Shiv Sena will also prefer Pawar than Modi.

How many Journalists are with BJP and Modi Government ?

At a gathering there was a discussion as to how many journalists in the country are with the BJP and the Modi Government ? And the outcome was not even 10 per cent.

My neighbour who is big into celebrating Birthdays and Anniversaries drops in. Over Cake Slices and Coffees we get chatting

Neighbour: The fans of a Leader show the mindset of the Leader.... on Rahul's Birthday you had his fans feeding cakes to his pictures on Posters ..and you have Modi...his fans are distributing food to the needy....cleaning neighbourhoods....

Me: Ek dumm durrust.... a Foreigner Guest saw this shindy of feeding cake to Posters by Congis...then Congress was in power and RaGa's fans were even more berserk... he asked me....wouldn't it be better if they fed poor cake slices...such idiocy....doesn't this man stop his fans from this idiocy.....

N: Its so embarassing seeing elderly touching Rahul's feet.... and he doesn't even stop them...shows his Yuvraj mindset...

M: Why there is a Congress CM who gained RaGa's trust by carrying RaGa's sandals....

N: And you have Modi who stops people from touching his feet.... if a Lady bows he bows back....arre iss ki funde allagh hai..

M: I've seen photographs of him getting Rakhis tied by young girls.... the Fatherly love he has in his eyes....

N: If Raga's Think Tank comes to know Public appreciates these qualities of Modi....tomorrow his IT Head will tweet pics of RaGa.... bowing to a row of elders.... and skipping and playing hop-scotch with young girls....

M: Then too the artificiality will be so obvious.... Modi does these from the heart...it's in his DNA...

N: I hear Rahul is in Bhopal for a roadshow and this roadshow will end at the BHEL Ground.....symbolic....maybe it'll end with slogans....BHEL Rahul ji baat maano... Cellular phone banaane ki tahnno (pledge)!!

M: Speaking of MP..... hear Kamalnath says 30 BJP MLAs in touch with him..

M: Old trick of Congress.... or maybe BJP MLAs are persuading him to join BJP as there are rumors he's upset with High Command's diktats..the last one was he should address Scindia as Maharaj...who knows!!! Jaise ko taisa....

N: My Brother lives in Bhopal .....he says Shivraj is on a strong wicket....

M: This new NOTA story basically is ...Humm toh doobe tumm ko bhi dubaaye ge!!

N: India will give a decisive result.....

M: Last 6 months of Govt, future always uncertain, things Public expects a Majority Government will do ..... Abolish Article 370.......Make entire Bhagwan Ram City around Ram Mandir with Central Funds......Uniform Civil Code......Law that Temple Funds be used only for Temple projects.

N: Yes......I think going into 2019 without at least two of these would be unwise....

M: No doubt Modi's work will stand BJP in good stead.... but certain expectations have been built in and Public expects delivery. ..

N: My analogy.... if BJP doesn't deliver on at least 2 it'll be akin to going into a war with the Rafalles UPA was ordering......bare Fighter.... if it does deliver.... it'll be like going into 2019 war with BJP's Rafalle....armed to the teeth...

Babus Find Politics More Vibrant To Serve The People

Much has been said from time to time on the merits and demerits of bureaucrats joining politics. It has also been debated for long whether there should be a ‘cooling off’ period for a civil servant before he enters politics after quitting or even after retirement.

While difference of opinion over these issues can never be ruled out, there could be no two opinions that, theoretically bureaucrats are most eligible and efficient persons for becoming politicians as they are well acquainted with ground realities - necessary for policy formation.

Having worked at various stages - at district level as collectors, at state level in secretariat and , in majority cases, at various positions in central government, they are supposed to be well versed with the ‘process of policy implementation’ - a boon to serve the nation in their stint as a politician and as a minister in government in particular,.

But since the officers rarely have the freedom to work as they please, and are mostly employed in service of politicians and not the State, many of them - eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation - join it.

There is a long list of former bureaucrats, police officers, diplomats, technocrats, academics and army officers who are into politics.

They include familiar names like General VK Singh, Kiran Bedi, Ms. Meira Kumar, Hardeep Puri, RK Singh, Sanjiv Tripathi, Mani Shankar Aiyar, N K Singh, Satyapal Singh, Bhagirath Prasad, Yashwant Sinha, Ajit Jogi, Nagabhairava Jayaprakash Narayan, Alphons Kannanthanam, Jesudasu Seelam, J Sundara Sekhar, Arvind Kejriwal, PL Punia and the list goes on.........
