This is History (657 )
India was but a dependency of Britain, forced to toe the line of her imperialist mistress.
Will Democracy be a thing of the past in India ?
Will Democracy be a thing of the past in India ? Such a hypothetical question came up for discussion at a get together and many said that if the past generations in the independent India have seen Democracy, it would not be a surprise if the next generations will see dictatorship.
Cong can be revived only when Rahul gets full powers
Congress can surely be revived one day but only when Rahul Gandhi is given full powers of the party President. It is so because, so far, there is no charge against him.
Ambani to be digital king of India !
Grapevine has it that the day is not far off when Mukesh Ambani will be digital king of India.
Wow..what a welcome
I'm at my fav Coffee Shop in Defence Colony and I'm joined by a friend who works for a Policy Think Tank. He gets the
Coffees and we get chatting.
Me: Pakis seen to have gone berserk ... Modi's trip to Israel...
Friend: They must be worried what Defence Equipment India will acquire ...like Drones must be giving them an extreme burning sensation in the pit of their stomachs..
M: Yes India can put the Drones to good use on the Border....there is so much on offer...and with Doval there hope he gets know-how with equipment to handle illegal migration into India and for keeping tabs on the ones who manage to squeak into India .....
F: They say the motto of this trip is ... Defence to Development....
M: Israel really pulled out all plugs to give Modi a momentous welcome ... set a example how a Nation receives a true friend...what a welcome...
F: Back home you have extreme heartburn from the Lootens lot....and you have Pappu calling Modi a weak PM...
M: They are all like a disease that cures itself..... what's with China..
F: It's the usual positioning ....they keep getting such fits....Chinese Economy in a fix as it is.....yes we could have a war on our hands if we banned Chinese Imports .... conversely...would they attack such a huge Market for Chinese Products ..
M: Seems in Laloo's scheme of things for 2019 Rahul does not figure ...Priyanka figures..
F: This is just going to increase ....next you will find a section of Congis requestion High Command to take a reality check...
M: But why Priyanka...UP election...you had people saying she's Pappu No. 2...
F: Maybe Sonia has a Hobsons choice ...best of the worst...
M: Speaking of Laloo ......details of Laloo Clan's deals just keep jumping out of cupboards ..Sushil Modi alleges that Laloo's son Tej Pratap was gifted 13 acres of land when he was just 3....
F: Does his submission to EC mention this Land in his assets...if not EC should take note and investigate... because if he owns the Land and did not declare it in his submission to EC then this is ground for disqualification.. .
M: He'll just say he had no idea that Gifted Assets had to be declared to EC.... they say excuses mein Laloo toh maahir hai...
F: Yaar... coming back to Modi in Israel ....they named a Flower after Modi..
M: And you know for quite some time Indians have named you know who as the .....National 'Fool'!!!
F: Really he needs to put an end to all this mirth at his expense by just going and doing what he loves most ....Travel......and mind you in the real World and not the Yuvraj/Baba World he lives in...... he is not getting younger either .....
