It is widely believed that recent CBI episode has exposed political connections. It has cleared one more thing that which officer is reportedly affiliated with whom?

Political observers feel effort of Amit Shah to expand party  base in South has harmed .Had he concentrated on the Hindi belt the party base in the north  would have been more strengthened they feel.

Demo Anniversary...

I'm at my favourite Cafe enjoying my forenoon Cuppa... seated at the adjacent table is a gentleman who I recognize

....he's a retired Senior Banker. After we exchange pleasantries he strikes a conversation...

Banker:  Manmohan Singh was the ex ....RBI Guv.... FM and PM... see what he said on the relationship between FM and RBI Guv in his Daughter's Book ...FM is superior... RBI Guv cannot refuse him unless RBI Guv is willing to give up his job...

Me: Woh karre toh Sanskaari.....BJP karre toh....like now Congress and Durbaaris are in chorus on the rumoured  spat between FM and RBI Guv...

B: RBI is trying  to stave off FM ...saying what FM wants could lead to an Argentina kind of situation..fact is RBI holds much higher total Capital as a percentage of its total assets (28%) than other Central Banks do...and on both Micro and Macro  basis India is nothing like Argentina..

M: It's not as if Government is using up a part of the 'family jewels' ..... this is like using 'excess money lying around'....

B: In the past Arvind Subramaniam had mooted a plan to use 4 lac crores of Surplus to recapitalize Banks...

M: So if RBI Guv does resign .....RaGa will make a hulla... taking cue so will Darbaaris...totally forgetting what Congress's ex PM.. FM and RBI Guv had said...

B: The cracker ban literally went up in smoke.....looks like a over reaction by Court because Satellite pictures show the Diwali pollution is marginal and Mehmaan of few days..and on Sabrimala it's the unshakable faith of devotees that's guiding them...

M: Now there is a study that pollution is Population related.... hope the NGOs don't propose a plan to the Court......

B: Let me guess...all those whose names start with A and end with R must shift out of NCR...

M: Azam Khan would initially rejoice  that his arch enemy Amar has to move out of Delhi....but then go glum... what if he moves to Lucknow.. an ex SC Judge has said that it's the SC's job to interpret the Law ...not make Laws... this is the job of the Legislature...

B: Is RaGa in London for Diwali...

M: Should  be because embarrassed by RaGa being allegedly in London his Chamchas are voicing their opinions that Modi should not disturb Fauj on Diwali...they feel humaara Baba in London for Diwali whereas Modi with the Fauj on this day..what will Public feel..

B: In fact you can deduce a individual's priorities by studying the way he or she celebrates ...

M: Oddly Congress seems to be celebrating the 2nd Anniversary of Demo.... every Congi worth his salt  tweeting  about Demo..

G: Demo achieved quite a number of goals.....Notes stashed in lockers..cupboards etc., all in Banking System...formalization of Economy.... increased tax base and tax collections...Depositors who deposited above 10 lacs served Notices...

M: And the Notices take time  to fructify....as Assessees can approach the Tribunal against IT Department's Order and thereafter  move Court against Tribunal's Order.... so its a lenghty process..

G: As Government is pushing for digitization of Economy I expect in its next Avtar Modi Government will withdraw Rs.2000  Notes.... not Demo style....give holders a period of say 3 months to exchange all legal 2000 notes and Banks will inform IT Authorities about the exchange details....

M: That's why Government has not introduced Rs.1000 notes....after some time 500 will be the highest denomination Tender...

G: MMS too has been mobilized to speak up against Demo on its Anniversary..

M: When will he realize ..... after 10 years of UPA...whatever he says Public take it to be just the opposite...

G: Majority feel Demo was good for the Nation.....

M: Ironical...those who faced the brunt of Demo favour it...

G: And leading the minority who are against Demo is RaGa who broke the line to exchange 4000 .....

Both of us laugh.  We bid each other Adieu...pay our tabs and move out....
