Mid term polls in Delhi on the cards

Mid term polls in Delhi government seem to be on the cards. Recent developments in the party indicate that they are inevitable and are likely to occur anytime this year end or early next year.

Only Sanjay Gandhi could have countered Modi !

Only Sanjay Gandhi, had he been alive, could have been a befitting Congress reply to the BJP’s Narendra Modi , it is widely believed.

Confused Baba ..

By the wonder of imagination I was able to interview RaGa.

Location: Lodhi Garden

Me: So how are you...

RaGa: This bloody Delhi chip-chip weather...

M: You've just returned from cooler climes so will take a little time to adjust....why did you call Modi a weak PM....

R: He could have resisted going to Israel and kept the relationship at Status Quo...they help us ...side with us ....and Publically we remain aloof ...

M: I think very rightly Modi has changed it to true Friendship...70 years of thanklessness over...

R: It was Congress that did its best to buddy-up with Israel

..read history..

M: Nehru blocked full Diplomatic relationship with Israel ....the then Israeli PM had said Nehru's action was tactic and not based on any principal.. I Gandhi calling Arafat her bro...70 years no Indian PM visited Israel ....why!! Because of Muslim appeasement ...simple !!

R: Too complicated ... (shifting subject)... India is becoming very intolerant ...

M: Yup ....you guys simply cannot stay without power ...so you all simply cannot tolerate Modi ....70 years Muslims were shamelessly appeased ....Hindus were ignored ...so on some issues emotions bound to run high....but point to be noted Law is doing its job...

R: West Bengal...

M: If you knew the issue you wouldn't  have given this example ....that is sheer Goondagardhi by Muslims and what did the Cops do there... it's the Central Force that were sent and  are keeping some semblance of law and order ....Didi is not behaving like a CM... on Law and Order who should the Guv talk to...and her sidekick must be doubling up as a Dhobi......because he says he knows bedsheets and towels in Raj Bhavan have RSS markings.....

R: Too complicated ...(changing subject)... don't you feel Meira is a more suitable candidate than Kovind..

M: Why ...because she's subservient to your Family ....we dont want another Pratibha in Rashtrapathi Bhavan...Kovind is any day better ..not a Dynasty Dalit ...uncontroversial...qualified ...

R: I'm going to meet Nitish ..

M: Ha ha ....you going to make him an offer he can't refuse ...Congress has the expertise in this ...and even if he changes his mind ...it hardly matters .....have you studied the numbers.....

R: Too complicated ...Laloo ji is 100% with us ..

M: And he said that in 2019 Priyanka should lead ....he ignored you...

R: Laloo ji is too complicated!!

M: Be ingenious...you could say when Laloo has his Kheni dose his tongue gets disconnected from his brain!

R: I said he's too complicated ....by the way why are Isreali Drones being hyped up so much..

M: Chodh yaar... too complicated...you won't understand ....

He gives me a dirty look and walks away

DEBATE -

“Bureaucrats alone responsible for the mess”

The recent conviction of three officers including former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and two serving IAS officers — K S Kropha, former Joint Secretary in the Coal Ministry and now Meghalaya Chief Secretary, and K C Samria, then Director in the Coal Ministry and now Joint Secretary in the Minority Affairs Ministry has sent shockwaves among bureaucrats.

However the question that arises is that are the bureaucrats alone to be blamed for the mess or the political class should also be held responsible ?

whispersinthecorridors.com asked this question - Are the bureaucrats alone to be blamed for the mess ? – and the answer was ‘an emphatic Yes’, though some of them said that the Politicians are equally responsible.
