N N Vohra, according to sources, has resigned from the post of Governor of J&K in January this year. He, was however, asked to continue .Now the appointment process has hotted up.

Hatred ki limit...

Intrigued by the Chinese Ambassador meeting Indian Opposition Leaders ...I call my friend who works for a Foreign Affairs Research Organization for Coffee. He comes to my Office and over Desi Lattes (Nescafe in Milk) and Bourbon and Jim-Jam biscuits we get chatting.

Me: Should the Chinese Ambassador have met Opposition Leaders... and a retired NSA and a DM... what's going on...maybe a well thought out game plan..

Friend: I was surprised too..I strongly feel all should have refused ...of course very politely and indirectly...to meet him ...busy ...unwell ...

M: Seems the Chinese Government did its homework well and took advantage of a lot of hatred caused naivity here....

F: Homework... yup.. they know such a hatred filled Opposition can really be an effective tool... China puts pressure externally and our Opposition mounts pressure internally via badmouthing this Government ..and there is no doubt on a scale of 1-10 ....hatred of Opposition for Modi is at 11!!

M: Yup now I wouldn't say it was immaturity by RaGa to question Modi's silence in China ..there has to be more to this... really these guys are spinning a very dangerous web...I don't doubt their patriotism... but this hatred is short circuiting their brains..

F: Yup...and the hatred has got the Jokers amongst Pseudos to use a Doggy Filter on someone who resembles Modi...

M: And Jokers in Congress and a Joker in TMC are using this filter on their own pics.... to show their sense of sporting humour....

F: Ha ha... the real test of sporting humour ..would be if Congis use Doggie filter on Rahul's pic and TMC guy uses it on Didi's pic...

M: The 73% pleased rating that Modi has got has rankled these guys even more...so mad they are in anger + jealousy that they've even made themselves look like Doggies....

F: What do you feel will Laloo's son resign or will Nitish sack him..

M: I feel at the last moment ... Laloo's son will 'step away for a study tour'..thats the terminology they could use... saying he is going back to the People to learn what they feel and give them his story..... timeline .. till he clears his name...

F: Of course he will continue getting Dy. CM post frills ...

M: Laloo's betting heavily on UPA returning to power ..

F: Well as per today's odds he's betting on a Horse that now has odds that Race Course Punters term as 'Langdaa Ghoda'!!

M: I just read this on Twitter ... Army has given Procurement Projections to counter China ...then maybe China could have hyped Border issues to get India into an Arms race with it .....force India to divert precious funds to fund the Arms Race because it'll be us who will be catching up ..

F: US and Israel would indeed be indebted to China .. two in one ....force India to divert precious funds and indebtness of certain Countries for kick-starting the Armed Race and forcing India to Order Arms ..

We exchange meaningful looks and my Friend leaves for his next appointment.

“Bureaucrats alone responsible for the mess”

The recent conviction of three officers including former Coal Secretary H C Gupta and two serving IAS officers — K S Kropha, former Joint Secretary in the Coal Ministry and now Meghalaya Chief Secretary, and K C Samria, then Director in the Coal Ministry and now Joint Secretary in the Minority Affairs Ministry has sent shockwaves among bureaucrats.

However the question that arises is that are the bureaucrats alone to be blamed for the mess or the political class should also be held responsible ?
