Top informed sources said that Home Minister Raj Nath Singh will either be Foreign Minister or Defence Minister in the new Modi Government. It is widely believed that Amit Shah will be made Home Minister.

BJP reaching out with promissed sops to Army veterans in poll manifesto

The BJP Lok Sabha poll manifesto 2019 says-“ We have already demonstrated our commitment to the welfare of our veterans with the implementation of long-delayed OROP. To take this commitment forward, we promise to create a more effective framework for the resettlement of our Armed Forces veterans. Under this effort, the Armed Forces will start planning for the resettlement of soldiers three years before their retirement and in accordance with their preferences. This will include provision for skills training, soft skills training, financial support for higher education, for housing and for starting an enterprise”.

In the United States, it was learnt that some of the tour operators are reportedly selling  India’s election rallies in run up to Lok Sabha polls as a package for a new experience to tourists planning to visit India during the election season!!
