If Modi loses election ?

If Narendra Modi loses elections, people say all his close friends in BJP, Media, Corporate World will vanish and start bombarding him. The same thing they say will happen with Amit Shah. A couple of old IAS and IPS officers will however, not  desert him. Any reason ?

If Modi wins elction ?

If Narendra Modi wins election, the entire World would call him the tallest leader on the earth and all his Party leaders, Mediamen, bureaucrats  would start hovering around him to see even his smile.

Parties counting abuses ?

Political Parties are accusing various leaders of using abusive language against their leaders. BJP has reportedly said that opposition leaders have used abusive language against PM more than 50 times. Will other parties also give figures ?

Former Punjab Home Secretary, SS Channy has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) He is former IAS officer of Punjab cadre of 1982 batch.

Is ‘lateral entry’  in GoI a step in the right direction ?

Recruitment at Joint Secretary-rank posts through “lateral entry” mode, which means the appointment of specialists from outside, has left many a Civil Servants, specially IAS officers, jittery. They say that the newly appointed recruitees who are junior to them have been selected for a senior and responsible position which is bound to create hurdles in administration. How far the initiative, pegged by the Modi government as a civil service reform, a step in the right direction ?
