It is said that PM Narendra Modi only writes his notings in Hindi. Instead of “Seen” he reportedly writes “Avlokit” and this makes several non-hindi speaking bureaucrats confused.

Guv posts for WB & Karnataka crucial due to political scenario

For the government, the appointment of Governors, in West Bengal - where Keshri Nath Tripathi (84) is completing his term next month and Karnataka - where Vajubhai Vala (80) is retiring in August, are crucial due to the political situation in these states.

Suresh Soni to be another Nanaji Deshmukh ?

Senior most RSS leader Suresh Soni is going to be another Nanaji Deshmukh. He is said to be settling down in Harda in Madhya Pradesh to set up an Ashram.

M: I was shocked to see his  behaviour during President's address... first 20 minutes he was busy on his Mobile... then for 20 minutes he was talking to Sonia... and then when Sonia applauded the Surgical Strikes he tried to stop her... but she did not stop..

F: And as he stepped out of Lok Sabha... he started his Chowkidar Chor hai-tauba...

M: The Voters had ticked him off via Votes for his lies....told him emphatically... Chowkidar is Pure...

F: Lagthaa hai he's now upset on Jeeja's ED woes... because ultimately uss ke aur Mummy ke door pe buck goes!!

M: I think he's been advised he should continue with his Chowkidar rant or Public will say it was an electoral lie.... so slowly but surely after raising it again he'll let it go....though Public knows he's lying on Rafalle ..... but he can't accept it .....so he'll let it slowly fade away..

F: Congress..BSP... SP not coming to terms with loss!

M: Aki feels Maya took advantage of SP.... Maya feels Aki was not committed to the Alliance.... both feel RaGa and Sis were living in a Fool's Paradise...

F: Both are livid with Rahul and his Behena! 'RaGa aur Sis hai akdoo aur maanthe nahi kissi ka kehena'!!

M: Yes both have reputations of being stubborn....have humongous egos...and feel they are 'Royalty'!!

F: Parr sunnane mein hai aaya....ki Gandhis pe padha hai Narad ka saaya..

M: Yes now they don't see eye to eye....Mummy feels Sonny ke kitne electoral gunnah karroo maaf.... Behena feels Bhai is controlled by a 'useless bunch'...RaGa feels he needs total freedom...and cut up why Behena turned down his request  to her to stand from Amethi!!

F: Gandhis and their individual Camps.....as it is in 'divide and rule' they are Champs...

M: The way they are going... Congress ki banne ge hisse.....sunno ge rozz naye naye kisse...

F: Wah ... wah.... humaari billi aur hum se hi meow....

Is India inching towards Presidential form of Government ?

Whispersinthecorridors has this indication from top bureaucratic circles that there is an apprehension of Presidential form of Government in the country. The logic behind such a thinking is – introduction of lateral entry System in bureaucracy (American system), appointment of IAS, IFS and Army officers as Ministers, selection of top brains in different sectors, portfolio allocation to Dr. S Jaishankar and Hardeep Puri, plan to import a third of Deputy Secretaries from private sector, efforts to have ‘one nation, one election’, strong PMO and last but not the least appointment of Amit Shah as Home Minister.

Grapevine has it that once the BJP gets majority in Rajya Sabha next year, Presidential form of Government will become a reality but will it be viable ?
