Rahul Gandhi seems to be number one target of BJP.His well wishers have suggested to him to be more vigilant and cautious in his  words and actions.His all such actions  will be highlighted  in media to prove that he is incapable.

 

 

 

 

 

Prominent voices like LK Advani, MM Joshi, Jyotiraditya missing this Lok Sabha

In the last three decades of India's electoral history, there were certain strong voices of their party, states and respective constituencies in Lok Sabha but their voices will not be heard in the 17th Lok Sabha. Prominent among them are BJP veterans LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan, Hukumdev Narayan Yadav, former Congress leader in Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge and his deputy Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Highest Number of Women Representatives in this Lok Sabha

The 17th Lok Sabha has the highest number of women MPs to have been ever elected. Of the 78 women MPs, 46 MPs are first-timers in the Lok Sabha. This is higher than 2014, when 62 women were elected to the Lok Sabha.

Dynamism

Flight is delayed and I get into a conversation with a Foreigner seated next to me in the Lounge...

Me: So you've been here in India for a good 11 years...

American: Yup.....and I know more about Indian  Politics than I know about what's going on back home... have a working knowledge of Hindi... and quite a few Punjabi  'expletives'!! I simply don't understand the hue and cry about Hindi.... damn it be proud of a language that is your National Language..... it's understood all over India... even by Cabbies in Chennai and Kochi...

M: It's the North South divide created by Congress..

A: And today...Congress is like this 70-year old Company which thinks it is a startup that needs to be run by its Founders. Stock is at an all time low. Time to get in a CEO to rebuild or simply sell off and head to the beach...

M: Very factually put...what are the changes you've noticed ....when UPA was in power and after Modi took over..

A: Chalta hai attitude has gone down immensely.... Indians are  proud of  India now...you can say a swell in Patriotism....Corruption is not as you guys put it 'khulam khulla'...

M: What about Ease of doing business!!

A: Kumsi-Kummsa....two steps  forward one step backward....I get the feeling Officials don't want to lose their relevance and of course don't want greasing to stop... so some new Form or procedure keeps getting introduced ...

M: Could  also be after introduction of GST fine tuning keeps going on... wherever and  whenever they find the great  Indian Jugaad at work.... innovative Indian way of circumventing.... they try to plug it...

A: You have a point... I've witnessed Jugaad ... my Driver  just  did a Jugaad on my Merc and I ended up paying a fortune to get the damage done by the jugaad repaired.... I was reading an article ..Modi's made the Lok Sabha Opposition Mukht... Mukht meaning freed it ...correct me if I'm wrong..

M: Yes Mukht is freeing... but it's not Modi it's the Voter...Oposition is riddled with Dynasts and Indians are sick of Dynasts....

A: I once travelled with one of these Dynasty Jhonnies on a flight.... the attitude... a co-passenger's elbow inadvertently touched this Dynast Jhonny... the tantrum this Dynast threw!!

M: Come Elections and these very 'Touch Me Nots' hug the Voters....

A: I read  a statement by one Dynast for another... that whenever he returned home after meeting Voters he used to get 'fumigated'!!!  No wonder Voter has 'cleaned them out' this time!!

M: Dynasty in India has been replaced by Dynamism... gritty... sweaty....Dynamism!! No more wafts of Calvin Klein in the Corridors of Power....
