Interestingly, Dr S Jaishankar before being made Foreign Minister and working as President of Global Corporate Affairs of Tata Sons was reporting to  N Chandrasekaran, Executive Chairman of Tata Sons. Now, Tata Sons Chief will have to seek an appointment to meet Dr Jaishankar !!   .

Me: Was talking to another friend and he mentioned some of the measures needed in Urban India to preserve precious Water... what about Sectors like Industry... Agriculture.. max dependence on water is of Farmers...

Friend: Control water usage in Beef , Leather, Alcohol, Soft Drink Industries... reduction in Sugarcane Crop....side by side educate Indians to reduce intake of white poison sugar...reduction in Rice Crop....at one time South Indians ate millets and white rice in equal quantities....do you  know at one time Indians grew and consumed a variety of Rice that needed half the water today's Rice Crop needs...

M: Needs Political Will and cooperation of Indians....

F: White Sugar... White Rice... Soft Drinks... Alcohol are as it is bad for us...

M: Political Will....once Modi gets after this issue.... Political Will will not be wanting... it's us who are the  real roadblocks....reduction in Beef production will get certain Minorities up in arms....Rice will be looked upon as another example of North trying to enforce something like Hindi on the South .....

F: Politics of divide and rule have made us into a self defeating Society...

M: And when any of the steps you  mention are taken... Opposition will cry... Emergency...

F: Yesterday was 1975 Emergency Anniversary.... and a guilty Congress started saying... 1975 was an Emergency via Constitution .... now there is an undeclared Emergency...

M: Had there been an Emergency now..... could have Opposition badmouthed Modi all the time.... would have those who orchestrate this badmouthing be out on Bail...you can do a fact check....most are out on Bail...

F: This Government is the first Government that reminds Citizens of the Duties that come with Rights....to make Indians responsible Citizens..but Opposition  which thrives on 'free for all' does not like Responsible Citizens ..so they've linked Duties with 'your Freedom is in danger' and termed this as an undeclared Emergency...

M: Hear now Mehul Choksi feeling the heat of the Law....his Antiguan Citizenship is going to be revoked  after pressure from India on the Antiguan Government...

F: Mallya and Nirav cases already in advanced stages for Extradition ....they are bound to  crack up soon... once they see the futility of their cases their top priority will be ...to stay out of Jail... and then they could use a mode which is in use in UK and Antigua... Plea Bargaining...the Courts there  permit Plea Bargaining in cases they deem fit ...
