Bihar: Political test for Rahul
Meeting between Nitish Kumar and Rahul Gandhi was reportedly not very conducive. Nitish is understood to have told him that Congress should decide its line because Tejasvi Yadav episode is denting grand alliance's image badly. It is said that Bihar CM has asked Rahul to avoid supporting corruption. Now to solve Bihar's crisis is a big challenge /test for Rahul Gandhi.
RJD in no mood to compromise ?
All eyes are on the outcome of Nitish Kumar and Rahul Gandhi meeting. It is said that RJD is in no mood to compromise on the issue of Tejasvi Yadav's resignation which is the bone of contention between the two - RJD and JD (U).
Army requires free hand in Kashmir
To achieve success, Army must be given free hand in Kashmir. These days it has to look to Delhi before taking any decision.
Majboori ka doosra naam..
My Respected Friend.. Retired Senior Bureaucrat...is in Delhi and we meet at a Coffee Shop in Defence Colony Market. Over Coffees and Biscottis we get chatting.
Me: Has RaGa literally lost it...
Respected Friend: The progression of events worries me ....RaGa returns from overseas ... Chinese Ambassador meets RaGa and other Opposition Leaders rabidly anti Modi... RaGa issues anti Modi statements...compares him to Hitler..says his policies burning J&K...Mamtha calls for BJP Quit India movement ...Abdullah demands China be made a Party to the Kashmir issue..
M: He forgets the Hitler in Indhra that we got to see via Emergency...the Hitler in Rajiv that we got to see via 1984 Genocide ...
RF: This Hitler comparison must be brainchild of Aiyer ... RaGa doesn't realize the more you hit Modi the stronger he becomes ...because the Public sees the shallowness or sheer lies in the anti Modi diatribe and sees the work Modi is doing ...its like abusing someone who is doing more than his best...
M: Didi toh everyone discounts ....they see her as someone who has totally lost it... steps to tackle Black Money.. Demo.... GST have unstabilised her.. and add to this her shameless Muslim appeasement ...
RF: I was in Kolkata and a retired colleague said ...Mamtha has proved you cannot take the habit of protesting out of a habituated protestor ...in Mamtha's case ...she was always protesting against WB CM..and today she's the CM but she's still in protest mode ..
M: And as for Abdullah ...he's different when he's in power and when he's out of power...but the build-up on the Tibet Border is worrying ..
RF: That's the Chinese way...over dramatize ...test reactions for the future ....if we withdraw our Troops all will be fine ..next time China will occupy larger territory and even make a landing strips and Helipads there ..
M: But really sad ..on a issue where Country should be One ....political survival desperation is making some show disunity ....
RF: I think now the proverb changes ...from Majboori ka doosra naam Mahatma Gandhi to ..Majboori ka doosra naam Sonia-RaGa/Didi...
M: Sonia-RaGa...reminds me... they say Sonia not interested in Rahul taking over ..there is too much unsteadiness that surrounds him...as a Congi told me ..she feels he's not grown in stature ...
M: Or she's worried ...Congis may heed her advice and Vote as per their conscience in the election to elect Congress President....
We have a good laugh and move out.
