Me: 14 Mature.... responsible... People's Representatives have submitted their Resignations... so what's  the delay in accepting their Resignations....the Resignations are voluntary and genuine...now as the rebels  have defied the Whip they should be disqualified..
F: The Resignations are not verbal.... Rebels have heeded Speaker's summons and not gone AWOL...in fact the first time they came to meet him he was away...what more does he want ....he kept saying he wanted to interview them....what technical flaws... 
M: Delaying tactic.... in the meantime news from Karnataka allegedly 200 + PWD Engineers transferred...informed sources say  the going rate for such postings allegedly  is between 20 lacs and 3 crores...
F: Can't the Guv step in and Order... till Vote of Confidence the Government  cannot place any Orders... no Transfers...make it a Lame Duck Government till Vote of Confidence is undertaken..

F: Yup.... anti Modi Media steps in as and when case/s are  filed against  such people...starts talking on how they've taken on BJP... Modi... Shah and conveninently gloss over why case/s have been filed against them..
M: Like this Gujarat Cop... who the anti Modi lot have christened as India's Mandella... very conveniently they gloss over his voluminous Rap Sheet and just harp on how he took on Modi.... actually how he tried to fasao Modi.. because Court threw out his Charges..and Court has given him a Life Sentence for a custodial death...not Modi!!
F: Last night a Political Analyst during a T.V.  Debate took out a Lauki and knife and sliced the Lauki into round pieces... to explain his 'Congress has gotten smaller and smaller theory'.. in the end he showed the attached stem and a fraction of the Lauki...situation today!!
M: Leaderless and Ruderless Congress is going to face more slicing..
F: It's a power struggle at the very top... Mummy and Beti versus Beta..this is the impression I get..
M: And then Congress has the gall to say... BJP enticing Congis to leave Congress and join BJP..
F: Arre today seeing the situation... many Netas see no future for Congress are jumping Ship...and if they matter politically they end up becoming Mantris... bonus!
M: One solution.... World Cup over... Kartik replaces Dhoni....Dhoni replaces Ravi Shastri.... Ravi Shastri replaces Bhogle in the Commentary Box... Bhogle replaces RaGa ....Congress  needs someone at the top who has gift of the gab.... haazar jawab......and RaGa replaces Mallya who has retired as King of Good Times....travelling King....  Italy... Monaco....Thailand...
F: Speaking of retirement... Dhoni retires at 38 and at 50 RaGa is still the Young Face of Congress...
M: For Dhoni age denotes a Shelf Life of his fitness to play Cricket.... for RaGa  Age is a number ... he's ageless as long as politically or physically he does not return to the Pavilion!

Is India inching towards Presidential form of Government ?

Whispersinthecorridors has this indication from top bureaucratic circles that there is an apprehension of Presidential form of Government in the country. The logic behind such a thinking is – introduction of lateral entry System in bureaucracy (American system), appointment of IAS, IFS and Army officers as Ministers, selection of top brains in different sectors, portfolio allocation to Dr. S Jaishankar and Hardeep Puri, plan to import a third of Deputy Secretaries from private sector, efforts to have ‘one nation, one election’, strong PMO and last but not the least appointment of Amit Shah as Home Minister.

Grapevine has it that once the BJP gets majority in Rajya Sabha next year, Presidential form of Government will become a reality but will it be viable ?
